  • Samsung is edging ahead of Apple on AI and the company continues to compete on smartphones, watches, tablets and more. Samsung partnered with Google and Qualcomm to bring generative AI to its new Galaxy S24 lineup. Because Apple doesn’t have any generative AI features in its tech yet, I was curious to see how Samsung’s products stack up against Apple’s.
I locked up my Apple devices and immersed myself in Samsung’s gadgets for a week focusing on productivity, leisure and health. Here’s what I found.

I would appreciate if the test was done for 1 month up to 3 months. 7 days barely scratch the surface for a tech review + experience these days

Why didn't you use quick share?

You can't have someone who used apple their whole lives do a 1 week review it should be at least a month

Try a Garmin smart watch. You will never go back. 16 day battery life and more features than Apple or Samsung.

Apple Watch does auto pause. It’s in the settings.

Personally going from one thousand dollar device to another thousand dollar device is not a challenge, maybe do a midrange electronics challenge?

I don't think one week of experience will provide enough information. Nice try but not really

You're literally reviewing the newest gimmicky features instead of comparing the ecosystems at all. Are you for real?

Feels like a very superficial comparison, this wouldn't really help someone decide which one to go for imo.

You should be locked in a box for shaking the box like this with your things inside.

I prefer Apple products generally, but I love the touchscreen on my HP laptop and prefer Garmin when it comes to fitness activities. Their battery life and accuracy for fitness tracking is unmatched. Speaking from my experience as a cross country and track coach, you almost never see serious runners with a Samsung or Apple Watch because the mileage and pace data on even old Garmin models are just so much more accurate.

Apple is for normal users, the masses... nothing wrong with that.
Android is also for the masses, and for the people who like things "just so" 🤌🏼 and want a fully customizable experience
For those who want the latter, and a boost to your productivity, try Android for 3 months. Also, Back Button, Dual SIM, Gboard, wider range of handset choices, and the list goes on and on and on...

Interesting video! I’m sometimes wondering if I should replace my MacBook with a Dell Latitude or my iPhone with a Galaxy but I’m not following trough on that.

One week was never going to be enough to really do a fair comparison if you are a lifelong user of something else. Unless youre only doing the switch for a story, which is obviously what this was.
