  • One of my first inserts where I had an abundance of room to arrange things. You could argue that I could've created individual slots to hold every single cone, but that would be against the mission of making games quicker to setup. These cones are slippery to grip, and the tapered end makes it even harder to pick up. A container to hold everything may seem lazy, but it's way faster going this route. The scoring frame has been reinforced with a dab of hot glue where the pieces intersect for improved rigidity and for some degree of grip when it sits on the game board.
My cards are coloured on the edges to cover up the white. Makes the cards look drastically more professional when it's all black, as opposed to two black surfaces sandwiching a thin white line.
The low number of components bring about a different objective which is that the storage volume is vastly larger than required. This means now there's a need to space out components, to still only use what you need, but also to create a visually comfortable arrangement that looks intentional- a balance between positive and negative space.
Overall I'm happy with how this turned out, but I see little reason to have to create a 3D printed version of this.
