I just got a good time on normal campaign so now I can try to make a better brutal run.
Wow didn't knew that DTs are so sick (I used Anihillators mostly in my playthrough) - DTs cost a lot of gas but seem to be able to do the job.
Wonder if you can do the last mission without time stop, as you lose time by using it. Keystone charge freezes.
Damn that was a crazy watch. I largely used Void Rays in my Brutal playthrough, didn't know DTs were capable of some of that.
You know, it never occured to me to use Phoenixes in Salvation. Dual, autocast Graviton Field is such a stupidly trivial crowd control solution, and yet it's one option I never tried.

Seems like you could save a lot of time on Temple of Unification, I simply ran right past the first hybrid group and let the lasers kill almost everything.
Void Rays and D.Templars solve everything.
Isnt there another mission or 2 after this mission?

Yes, consider just turning off the mic since most noise that comes through it is a jarring 'tsk' noise.

I was actually practicing for both prelogue and epilogue, but then when I realized other ppl didnt include them I skipped them as well, and it's nice to not make the run even longer : )

Indeed it is atm, normal difficulty is about an hour faster. which I will upload when I record without shitty music.

+Gaming Vids , this run is a single segment full game run, can't really be compared to segmented runs, not all maps are even completed on your link.
In a single mission run you can have full solarite and units from the start, and don't need to collect solarite in the single map runs, hence they can be a lot faster than in a full game run.
Never claimed this run is perfect, but it's the fastest full game run on brutal yet.

+MaxuWashi hm, but for some maps here you need like 3 or 4 times the time than in the single segmented runs, the reason for that cant be only the solarite, right
yeah i dont really think you understand how speedrunning works and the differences between them. and yes solarite does have that big of a difference>
Side note: on segmented runs you can also try one mission 15 times and keep the best score he cant do that he gets 1 shot at each mission, and to save time cant really change up his army comp
when the algorithm knows its time for me to move on to LOTV speedruns

This is good, but not the excellence I expect from "world record". I'm a amateur and I do several missions faster than this. Like on that purification level, mass void ray is faster(12 minutes), you can destroy ally's gas on harbinger of doom mission and build an assimilator on it for faster clear however you play. Ignore the nydus worms on Templar's return. And I believe missing a few solarites will get better overall time (like last stand, 5 whole minutes)

Good question, it was to get more solarite points so I could afford the Solar Lance ability

The speedrun does not take into account the loading time, does not take into account video clips. By interrupting the dialogues, you only worsened our perception of your passage. This is not a speedrun, much less a record.

it isn't speedrun game, it is relaxing playing.
Course that, You shouldn't have skiped the gameplay cutscenes, do pause speedruns time
and get us enjoy your video in full value. Understandable?
