Thanks so much for this it sounds great! Always love having instrumental Periphery albums there's just something about instrumental with prog metal that works perfectly and with Periphery it's no different. Still love the regular version of course.

I think the vocals kinda make this song... there's a lot of Periphery songs that sound just as good, some even better, w/o vocals, this is not one of those
i havent given this band a fair go as i'm not a fan of the vocals. i think this sounds amazing as an intrumental. imo the vocals are too busy. my opinion might change over time though

Periphery would be second only to meshuggah if they had a good singer. As soon as he starts they immediately fall into the bland, mediocrity of modern metal. The musicians are truly something special though
i dont understand the hate for spencer? is it becomes periphery has catchy songs with his vocals? is it because he isnt "growling" enough? i mean, did u listen to this song with vocals? have u heard their material? as good as meshuggah are, they are not known for their dynamics and that comes aswell for their vocals.
@@m00rtin4 I’ve had friends listening to periphery since their first album. I have tried so hard to like them. As soon as spencer sings it turns me off. It’s his singing style it has nothing to do with how much he screams or anything just purely how much I hate his voice with every fiber of my being. I don’t love meshuggah because they’re dynamic I love them for their rhythmic complexity, instrumental technicality, and how insanely heavy they are. Periphery definitely has their moments instrumentally but they are missing the finally piece (for me) that makes them “great”

i dont know what bands you are into but if u are "elitist" or a "purist" i guess u feel he sounds emo/screamo like iv heard other say around the internet. he sounds like a pop singer at times to me and he has great harmony in his voice along with his brutalness. He has a wide range and i guess people just feel this band needs a jens kidman or a more "manly rough" voice instead.
My fav songs from periphery are "Stranger things", "The way the news goes", Blood Eagle", "scarlet", "froggin bullfish", "luck as a constant".
@@m00rtin4 I don’t listen to my friends I’m saying I got introduced to them on their first album. My friends love them. I hate them. I’m not an elitist or purist. I just hate spencer. He’s absolute teeny bop singing garbage. Blood eagle is great, instrumentally
