Absolutely love how Rick can totally shift the tide of a war single handedly, but has no idea how to deal with anything that makes him feel any emotions at all.
To me, that is what makes Rick interesting. For a man who can challenge gods, he is mentally vulnerable/weak. Being sad and in pain he tries to isolate those feelings, by escaping therapy.
We know next to nothing of Ricks past and that is because he chooses not to talk about it.
Honestly, it's understandable because throwing yourself into the sight of death can be easier, especially if you have problems with emotions. I think death is somewhat a better option than risking sharing your feelings with people who don't care and will ridiculed you
Honestly, I definitely understand actually.
Im a very logical type of person, and I dont process my emotions or feelings well. In fact, I tend to bury or compartmentalize them (until they explode and take over in a burst of anger or overwhelming sadness). Because of that, my wife, friends and family like to joke that I a somewhat sociopathic. And maybe I am? But the fact is, when it comes to a choice to facing either 1) a difficult and complex software dev issue, or 2) the death of a family member... I would rather handle and deal the first one. I can not process the 2nd one
@@Jgregoire108 I think few people would rather choose to deal with the death of a family member, but I think I get what you mean.
Emotion are complicated, it clouds your mind when you need to think clearly.
@@RavenLordOfficials wow, that turned dark really quick.
I don't think people are willing to die just to escape problems of feelings, I think they want to replace the emotional problems with a more urgent and maybe lethal problem, as a distraction.
"Don'ttellmewhattodo!"
This is my all time favorite Rick tantrum
That’s the first time I’ve heard Rick say something THAT fast.
DONTTELLMEWHATTODO
That middle finger animation was just 👁👄👁👌✨
The “parting gift” was also pretty funny.
Fart bomb
Followed by a shitty middle finger
Rick destroyed one side of a war because that side got in his way.
Really glad he helped those robots tho!
Crocubot came from that side lol
he literally don't care in the world as long as no one get in his way. which is the reason why I like the last episode where everything came back to bite his ass. it tells me that even if I can do something, it's worthless if I don't do it. and the show say it in a funny truthful way.
The lesson here is not to be a dick
@@SuQmEdIc69 never shit in someone else’s toilet
"Don't use your dead wife as an excuse."
Rick understands that better than anyone
Like any good hypocrite.
@@blackmage665Rick is ACTUALLY in a depressive state and He wouldn’t be the man he is if his wife wasn’t killed. The other guy is just an ass who used his wife as an excuse for the right to use a damn toilet. Not the same bud
@@blackmage665he doesn’t use it for an excuse tho. He didn’t tell anybody for so long and use the fact his wife was dead to torture himself.
@@drawingisfun6681 Yeah but he didn't hold himself or the guy that actually pooped in his toilet accountable! he went to another dimensions and got a perfect copy just because he "related", and didn't want to take it out on the guy who directly related! literally a double cope!
Ahh yes, the things you gotta do for that "special throne".
throne of potential bowel cancer :v
He's the king of the throne
B j
I love that Rick wins a war for the robots just to find out who pooped in his toilet.
Also that his cybernetic arm can fire a pustule that defecates a fecal middle finger.
Not just any poop it was the same brownie that the guy who dared poop in Ricks toilet. The same poop was used to give the guy the finger.
Rick all of a sudden being overpowered is kinda ruining the show
@@joeabosssands2481 he’s Always been OP he’s legit said in episodes I can do whatever I want but only whenever he wants to it’s just in certain situations he will give less shits

@@joeabosssands2481 yeah because as the series goes on he gets smarter also I’m pretty sure after a few adventures he would think to bring some shit along next time
He did all this cause some guy shit in his toilet
That's Rick in a nutshell.
Sometimes you get pissed from little things.
I am reasonably curious if you seen Rick's toilet, or rather the location of it. It has quite the view on a planet that I suspect has no other toilet like it on said planet, or any other planet except it.
That’s Rick when your all powerful and think your a god you would probably do these kinds of things to am I right or am I wrong
you wouldn't?
It's a low-key adorable how rick can't process his own feelings, and is projecting onto this guy
Don't tell me how to feel!
No it isn't
@imhere "Iker" and "Kason" both sound like american names made up by someone who doesn't really speak english, it's probably the same person pretending to have a dialogue to promote whatever scam website he runs.
I sat down and watched episode pretty good but i noticed the writer must be sharing experiences from his life alot of these folk that write for adult swim talk and portray their up bringing moral oral to name one
@@grzegorznapkine4073 thats actually hilarious. iker and kason what a fucking joke
Rick brought an alternative version of the guy who poop in his toilet where the wife is still alive to prove the point that his dead wife did not make him poop that it was all him.
Weird flex
Yes I also watched the video.
honestly i never get that part, thx for the info. have a nice day.
amazing insight, the great minds of the CZcams comment section never disappoint.
Yeah but it doesn't really prove anything because he could have found another alternate version of that guy who's wife was alive and didn't use his toilet, making his point invalid
The "my apologies lieutenant commander" following the QR code gets me everytime😂
I just realise that Rick could have been best friends with this guy because they both lost their wives. Rick knew this but refused to accept a human emotion because it would hurt him in the end. And it did when the guy died
Wait, you think two people having dead wives would be enough in common to simply make them best friends? Jesus how low standards for friendship do you think people have?
@@vvrathhps more in the side of empathy
@@vvrathhps you must have tons of friends yourself huh
that makes a lot of sense after 5 season bird person episode, the only person he ever had feelings for rejected him
Makes sense after the season 5 finale
I love how much of a self centered god Rick can be. He finished a war all by himself just to find the guy who pooped in his toilet.
What if our gods are just like rick? Creating multiple universe and realities for their own motives. Nonetheless, we are all insignificant to the bigger picture.
"So you're.... Not going to kill m-"
"DONTTELLMEWHATTODO"
The season 5 finale makes this episode make more sense as to why he didn't kill him. Empathy. He saw himself.
Damn, the attention to detail in this show is really amazing, I just realized that as well.
This episode is really sad, Rick finally got someone that somehow got the same feelings that he had, but at the end he still ends up alone, I got tears in my eyes while watching the end of this episode.
Yeah this one hit differently.. we all thought Rick gained a real friend.. we we're wrong :/
1:05 I just noticed the appearing spittle on Rick’s mouth. Part of a re-used speech animation perhaps?
Congrats you figured out animation companies use templates for characters.
@Keali'i Cooper So every piece of monetized animation besides maybe the handful of passion projects? Like this is such a common practice that it's like saying "I noticed my iPhone battery dies super quick." and thinking you figured something out.
@@actionbash2 hey, this isn't some indie animation. Must've mixed up the spittle talk animation frames and the clean talk animation frames.
@@gemstonegynoid7475 No it’s not, but animating is a painfully difficult process and sometimes a couple frames out of thousands get missed. Boo hoo
I am amused trying to imaging the life of the different dimenetion guy: his life will never be same. Since that he knows that his life can be ruthlessly intervened at any time by any way for a reason he can't even know about. The universe is truly a scary and chaotic place.
In fairness, that thing is the putative "smartest man in the galaxy." So he's just remarkably unlucky.
@@afqwa423 is he unlucky or does his genius open him up to even darker places simply because he left a safety bubble. It's like when your building wealth. It becomes more challenging because life isn't as simple as you imagined it if you weren't born well off.
@@Ndasuunye Nope.
Accumulating intelligence and wealth opens one's mind to possibilities but it is not necessarily make you a bad person. Does it make the slope more slippery? Sure. But if you ask me, assigning her daughter to live in fruppy land was a pretty damn early surrender of him not giving a shit.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely right? Well, he tried to throw hands with Zeus and got his ass beat. He thought he had seen it all but then he looked in Talking Cat's memory and found out there are things in the multiverse even he couldn't fathom. Jerry wanted to remember so someone should know, that it was the responsibile thing to do. Rick nearly killed himself but decided to surrender to it. Like he did from the start.
He told Beth that she wasn't evil, she was just smart, but that was simply the lie he told himself for years.
"Where do you wanna die?" The way Rick delivered that line was haunting.
Lol I just want to know how he found the toilet!
Is that slang for something? Somebody look that up!
I guess he built it
@@kims_aesthetic Rick built it, but how did this random office worker find it?

S4 is awesome for just getting Rick to resort to increasingly insane measures just to avoid admitting vulnerability to friends and family.
This guy doesn't even blame his toilet-stealing on his dead wife. Rick just assumes that someone who mentions their dead wife is blaming their problems on someone
Are the aliens Rick fought the same species Crocubot (from the Vindicators episode) or is it just me?
I thought so too.
I think so aswell
My headcanon is that crocubot was a prototype for the space alien croc robot fusion project
And does a I'm a person not a gun cliche and does space hero stuff

Knowing the context of Rick's past makes this scene so much better.
1:54 you know he's disgusted of how the alien used his dead wife as an excuse maybe cause rick lost her wife
After seeing the the season 5 final episode its makes so much sense why rick relates so much to this guy.
One of my favourite episodes. Just to get an archive tape, he proceeds for a brutal massacre and literally helps to win a war from the failing side single handedly.
I like how Rick uses a QR code to spoof being a robot when none of the robots have one.
That's cool but does anybody want to develop an app?
Don't try it
But rick says not to...
Jerry said yes

What kind of maniac creates a gun that makes a farting ass cake that then poops out a middle finger hand? Oh... right, Rick.
0:52 at very this moment he knew, he f* up
One of the rare instances of Rick (unintentionally) helping an unambiguously good faction without causing massive collateral damage or some kind fucked up twist to undo all of it
Man, Rick being so critical about this guy using his dead wife as a excuse hits hard after season 5
Rick went super mario on that lizard 0:24
holy shit, the contex from season 5 finale...
it totally makes sense why rick got so emotional.
Show of hands- who else thinks Rick purposely omitted any and all security features from his toilet just so he'd have an excuse to go on one of these rampages?
I love how the one time you think Rick is actually going to be heartwarming,
He straight up isn’t.
Love how the chip says "delivery archive"
My favorite hacking scene of all time "ahh forgive me lieutenant commander!" 🤣
The face Rick makes when he first hears about the guys wife is almost a wince. He looks saddened and almost in pain, like hearing it took him right back to the garage the day he lost Dianne
I'm waiting eagerly for the next season. Something tells me it'll come out in the second half of the year 🥲🤞🏽
This is one of my favorite episodes
The way he reacted to this guy telling him his wife died makes a lot more sense now...
He started having doubts when he mentioned his wife is also dead
I see. Rick sympathized with him when he revealed he lost his wife. Meaning Rick probably did lose his somehow.
What we’ve been told so far, is that Rick was already doing his science and Mr. Nimbus knew his wife, supposedly named Diane. We still don’t know the where, the when, or the why yet. (as far as I know)
@@seanpawn4549 "supposedly" ??? Thats confirmed

1:39 here he is proving that no matter what if his wife was alive or not he still would have used Rick's toilet
I like how theres supposedly infinite universes with infinite ricks but not one of them still has a living wife
Damn..I never thought about it like that
That actually makes me think- the only Diane that was confirmed dead was the main Rick's. What about the Dianes of the other universes? There has to be at least one where she's alive and well.
Damn. Another scene thats 100x deeper after season 5
rick made that guy watch as he beat another version of him lol
I go home almost everyday during my lunch to take a poop. I relate to him in every way this episode.
I like how the orange lizard had a devious smile and then Rick just killed his entire army
I like how this episode provides Crocubot's (from Vindicators 3) backstory. Robots are enslaved by crocodiles and hate each other. Crocubot is half of each, and it's ironic that both sides of him aren't that different.
"The revolution has overturned the lizards."

When Rick looks up when Tony tells him about his dead wife
Apparently Crocubot was just a member of an entire species of crocodile-cyborgs?
I was seeing more croc than bot
This TTS voice might be the funniest thing in the world.
The craziest thing about this is that Rick couldn't devise a way to access that employee information remotely.
I really can't express how brilliant random and utterly logical this all is

If you pay attention; the reptile being carried away on the news is the one that ate the part Rick was looking for. His stomach was torn open, meaning Rick went sifting through his guts to grab it without killing him first.
“Oy, scalpin’ for this bit, then?! Bahaha”
This is probably my favorite scene from that season.
I can’t wait for season 5
Out of everyone of Ricks enemies he got off the easiest
I love that he had the farting bird pooping butt platter on the ready.
