      Also White is going to have to give up the Queen for the knight to avoid mate e.g. Qxg3 Kh1 Qf2 and Ng3 is hard to stop. While if king tries to run to f2 then Qh2 Kf3 Qg3 Ke2 Qf2# is mate.

    the person played well , but held the game for too long , allowing prag to attack eventually , should have played a little agressive , as his kights were too active

    At the highest level, so many exchanges don't happen so early in the games. So clearly Prag did not have many games in his memory database (or from preparation) to recall from. So he was figuring out moves in real-time. I don't see any other reason for Prag to take this game down to the line. Though credit to the aggressive game by the opponent.

    Sad for the opponent he fumbled and lost on time by a millisecond ( I'm pretty sure there are increments on this format), it would of been a guaranteed draw if prag went Qxg3 after fxe3

      There was no draw there, my friend. Pragg is totally winning. Also, look at the eval bar on the right. The knight sac starts the endgame towards checkmate.

      It probably is his rapid time control rating, so not as high as his classical rating.

      The result can be observed by the way the players have kept their kings on the center of their board after their match ends. If both kings are played in opposite coloured squares, thats a draw. If both kings are placed on the white squares , white has won the game. If both kings are placed on the black squares ( like in Pragg's game ) then black has won the game. Hope that helps !

    It is weird however that there is no true emotional interaction between the players whatsoever... The handshakes are just formality. They don't even look in each others eyes when they meet. Too much playing, maybe?

      He lost on time coz his pawn fell down. There is a rule called piece-drop violation which means that u cannot hit the clock if one of ur pieces drops down. U have to put it back up before hitting the clock. That’s why he wasted his last 2 secs there and timed out unfortunately
