Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul finished working on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - what with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global economic turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
We invite you to follow us as we make regular trips and share our experiences with you.

I'm a Canadian who went to Australia for the first time in July of this year. We were there for a month, and Caloundra was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. We stayed right on kings beach, just steps from the pool you show at 3 minute mark. Such a beautiful spot! I can't wait to go back...I would move there if I could :) I absolutely loved it. We were supposed to do our trip in 2020, but it got cancelled and we had to wait and re-book. I just can't say enough good things about this place. I've been back in Canada for nearly a month now and I miss Caloundra so much. I really want to go back!!

It has beautiful beaches and is a truly relaxing place for a holiday ☀️ The locals enjoy an enviable lifestyle 😉 One of our favourite things to do is to have Fish n Chips at Bulcock beach and then walk along the boardwalk to Kings Beach….we hope you’re able to return soon ❤️

@@BethandPaultravel Yes, it was truly wonderful seeing John in concert. We were supposed to be there again in Bundaberg last October and again this year in April, but covid-19 has made it hard for us to travel from New Zealand. Our next trip to the Sunshine Coast will probably be a one way ticket. We want so bad to move back to Australia.

@@BethandPaultravel I have no doubts. Personally though, I'd prefer to live further out of town, Caloundra is a busy tourist town and therefore won't be the cheapest place to live. My wife, who is Australian, brushes my concerns aside with aplomb, so let's see who's going to be right the most by next Summer!

We do too! They’re called Pandanus trees and there’s lots of them all along the Sunshine ☀️ Coast.

Bulcock Beach is totally different now. Its closed off from the ocean since the surf broke through on Bribie Island.

Hi Oliver, yes, we have to admit, they were the best fish n chips we’ve had for a while 🤗 we bought them at a Fish n Chip shop at Bulcock Beach on the Esplanade. It’s called “Beachview Seafoods”. Don’t forget to specifically ask for ‘battered’ (if that’s what you’d like), otherwise they will give you ‘crumbed’ which is the custom up here 😉 Thanks for watching our videos, we’re sure you’ll have a great time on the Sunny Coast 🏖

that looks really nice there .just done johns dinner made him prawns crabstiks chopped and scotish muscles in white wine sauce with noodles saucew was mustard tomatoe sauce with mayo mixed with sea salt and black pepper.i mermaid swam in swanage harbour the other day lots of people shouting theres a real mermaid out there and some confused kids
The Scottish mussels in white wine sauce sounds delicious 😋!
Spent a bit of time over the last 25 years visiting Florida and the USA sometime up to 4 months a year . Ive been to Clearwater beach ,etc .. IMO their beaches do not come close to our beaches . Everyone thinks of Bondi beach as the best beach in Australia ,sorry we who live in Sydney actual have a lot of better beaches we just don't want the tourist to spoil them . Queensland has some great beaches , Coolum is miles ahead on Miami beach , go 2-4 blokes behind Miami beach and their are drug addicts everywhere and the crime to go with it .
