Crazy to watch this break a year later and see how many hundreds of dollars of tatis was pulled in this break and basically looked over. Today people would be going crazy if they pulled any of those tatis

I love Topps Chrome. I only get retail as I work on the road and hit Walmart when I’m out. Had decent luck. Got a refractor of Vladdy last week and a a couple Tatis Jrs.
But no color or autos yet. Been getting blasters and a couple value packs for the pinks.

Gonna say Hobby. Not to get to deep in the woods, but my issue is Hobby not having something more like a blaster style box where us budget guys could buy. $20 for a blaster vs $100+ for a hobby box? I can save it up but usually can't wait to rip some packs. 😁

I opened one rack pack the week they released and got a Vlad pink and base, and also a Tatis base. Made more than my money back and haven't opened a Chrome pack since.

Cool video...not sure if you saw the entire video series I did on this...but Blasters were probably the best value...and you'll wind up with way more cards at the end of it with retail...minus 5 weak autos lol.

I went to a few retail stores and I pulled two Guerrero Jr RC’s pink parallel and an Orange parallel of Aaron Judge photo variation from 5 blasters and 5 rack packs total.
But, you guys are correct. It just depends on your luck

Got a blaster today and pulled a Will Smith blue refractor auto. Best pull I’ve had from blasters.
I got a Topps chrome blaster from Walmart like a week or two ago and I got a green Brandon Lowe rookie auto and a redemption for a green Christin Stewart rookie auto :)
Both options in this video were monsters compared to my hobby box lol. My best card was an Alonso base.
Here is something you can do 2019 update vs Walmart to Target. there is always exclusive cards for each company buy one hanger box from each place and do a short videos to see if there are any differences between the two stores.

Ive bought a bunch of hobby chrome this year n ive done ok. I pulled the an Eloy purple auto, Keston Hiura green auto, Acuna image Variation SSP refractor, Sepia of Tatis/Vlad/Ohtani, negative of Trout, Vlad, Eloy...all still fs if anyone is interested as well
I got a nice blaster a few days ago with tatis and McNeil sepias and a negative and a few inserts. But ya not really buying any blasters or retail this year since the rookie class is smaller then last year and now tatis and Vlad are both injured. Just wait for the deals on the hobby boxes if it drops in price or buy singles.

Some you tuber pulled a vlad jr /5 auto from a rack pack recently.
Hobby definitely better for Chrome barely any numbered or autos in retail. But you can have some good luck in retail too and we have almost gotten a good rookie or comparable in every pack.
I have bought nothing but retail for chrome from Walmart so far and it's been so so. Have bought 2 mega boxes and probably 10 hanger packs
2 years later I think that Tatis Pink hits different

I pulled a Nick Senzel autograph green redemption out of the value pack from Walmart. I was shocked I wasn't expecting that out of there. I've done 4 mega boxes and pulled two base auto's no one big.

Watching in 2021, you pulled about two grand worth of Tatis but called the break a bust. Funny how time works. Be interesting to see what the value is in another two years.

Walmart blaster boxes are the way to go. I pulled a Tatis auto and sepia in one and in the other I pulled a Vlad sepia and base card.

I bought 6 of the 4.99 jumbo packs at the local Rite Aide. Pulled same type of cards and at least half the players you pulled I did get more base rc than you guys
