The LCD screen has stopped working on A7ii recently. It happened suddenly, the symptoms included flickering and distortion, and now it doesn't work at all and is only black. The view settings are set to auto, and I've tried to reset and initialize the camera but with no positive results. I've changed lenses and only seem to be able to use the viewfinder. Camera still takes photos and videos however. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
the damage is between the two, it can be flexible cable or LCD I think, from the description above it could be damage to the flexible cable kabel I hope this helps.

Wondering why the old LCD cable could not be used with the new screen?
The old LCD cable was torn a little so it didn't display an image so it had to be replaced with a new LCD cable
