As a black conservative man with 3 young kids this abortion conversation really upsets me. Outside of medical issues or life threatening issues i couldnt imagine the thought of deleting my kids. Are we not adults that can be responsible in the bedroom? This my body my choice mess is trash, the child wasnt made by one person and started in my body. I have every right to have a choice, especially morally and financially.

What’s funny is this panel doesn’t understand how the framers built safe guards in the founding documents. What people need to understand is the states hold all the power and not the federal government.

I would love to say that Fabian is pretty amazing. I couldn’t even tell what side he was on because he seemed genuinely pragmatic and for the people. I love his message about focusing on education because he is right, without a basic education you can not understand the world around you and people can easily take advantage of you.

Amazing how a representative of congress does not understand that the president and vp nominees can both be from the same state during the election and only need to change residency before the electoral college votes. This happened with Bush/Cheney in 2000 when Cheney changed his residency from TX to WY the day before the electors voted and then he switched back to TX the day after the vote.
She's afraid of birthright citizenship being taken away and then explains because that's what fascist countries do? Literally every other country in the developed world doesn't have birthright citizenship. I would argue the USA doesn't either. If a French dignitary is here with his pregnant wife, and she has a kid here, that kid is NOT an American citizen as he/she needs at least ONE parents being under the jurisdiction of the United States.

We are currently the only country that gives citizenship to someone just because they are born in the country. I have a kid who was born in Italy, they are American not Italian. I have a kid born in Belgium, same thing. The concept is unique to the US and originated to allow freed slaves to be granted citizenship. If we “took it away” it would be to declare that babies born here will be a citizen of whichever country the parents are citizens (like everywhere else). It would not retroactively remove citizenship to people who have citizenship, it would be babies born after that point. So many of her declarations are factually wrong because she believes in a narrative rather than facts.
you're just flat out wrong on your end. The vast majority of countries in North and South America have birthright citizenship as well. Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina....ALL of these countries have birthright citizenship. the only way you're getting rid of birthright citizenship in the U.S. is if there's a new constitutional amendment that does this, and there's no chance in hell that the states would ratify such a constitutional amendment.
I don't know other countries laws but I agree you shouldn't be a citizen just because you are born here
