Were they hard to find
I remember copping a pair of white cement retros (first retros I think) back in 1999 from online. Had them delivered to my Dorm in college. Still remember the price: $99.99 before taxes.

These are sleepers! Im definitely copping! Quality looks amazing and the shape is wonderful! People are sleep now but in my opinion in a couple years everyone will want these kinda like the Jordan 1 Top 3s.

I thought the "What the" concept was meant to be more crazy rather than just a mishmash of the OG colorways. But I dig them. The colors flow just enough to work.

quarta404 I feel you. I'm buying both and since the sneaker stores have a 45 day return policy, if my money ain't where I need it to be by January 1st then I'll take back the 4's and keep the 11's. Hoping I don't have any emergency expenses this December and I'll keep both 💯
The thing with the toebox is that the OG "OG" version (i.e. the '89 release) was made with synthetic leather as opposed to real leather, which is naturally a stiffer material than the synthetic and so I guess it isn't as easy to taper off towards the toe. The toebox on my OG White Cement 4s was perfect and I always felt that the syntethic leather was much better. It's maybe not as "luxury" as leather but it was kind of a thing back then in the late 80's and early 90s sneaker manufacture. Probably easier for MJ to get going on the court in some synthetic 4s rather than breaking in leather too...

I got them. Love them. I gott them cause I was chasing down the 11 bred. Couldn't get them nowhere. Finally went to the nike store at lenox mall. Stupid line for the 11s. Then found out you had to get a wristband to be in line. Didn't have one. So was looking at the rs which is my all time favorites. Went to the cashier to buy. He ask me you didnt want the Breds. I was like yes but dont have a wristband. He was like What. Hold on. Sohe got me in line but they only let me get one pair. I was happy cause every where was sold out. Dead. Crazy. At one point my ol lady was like stop bae they gone. Stuck to my gunns tho. Great review Big dogg. As always. Shout out from Atlanta.

Did you notice the numbers on the lace tips? Those are the last four digits of the original sku numbers of each 1989 OG colorway.
I got these literally the day after they released. I have all 4 original colorway and these are my favorite. I like to take 1 shoe from all 4 colorway and have these on top to show everyone what jordan brand was doing. These are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Just bought a pair of what the 4's a few weeks ago online for $164.00 plus tax and shipping came in out to like $180.00.they retail for 200 SE so I think I got a good deal on them!

I don't do asymmetrical shoes, but I like the leather quality and shape of these. I just hope they do the Military Blues and Fire Reds this nice, and the White Cements this nice (when they do them again).

100% It looks fantastic but it isn't nearly "What the" enough. It's much more balanced, like the top 3 jordan ones. The 4 has two versions of the heel tab, two versions of the wings and two versions with/without the netting, not to mention a myriad of colorways. A real "what the" with a jumpman on one heel and nike air on the other, leather/plastic wings on each pair, hits from the toros, green glows, thunders, lightnings, fears, some of the pinnacles and OG colorways... I'm just saying, could be absolutely insane

2012 white cement is the only white cement retro with jumpman on it, which is kinda cool as well.
Just earned a subscriber with that part about stating the obvious. I want to know about quality of materials, shape compared to original, fit and story.
Way back in the day when the original 4's came out, a friend and I decided to break into our local sneaker store so we could cop a pair for free. They had a display in the front window with about 6 boxes on show, with the 4's on top of the shoeboxes. We broke in through a skylight. As soon as I hit the floor,waaa waaa waaa the alarm goes off. I hear footsteps of my friend run off into the distance. I hide under a table with a long table cloth, after a failed attempt at fleeing the scene. After about an hour of the Police searching they find me. Handcuffed, knees in my back, roughed up a bit, I was taken to the cop shop and my Parents were called. I deserved everything I got. They tracked my friend with the help of a K-9. Long story short, I never got the 4's.....ever.I never broke into anything else. About a year later, the 5's came out. After learning my lesson, and staying out of trouble I worked odd jobs after school to save, so I could get a pair the right way.I go into the store( different sneaker shop )to buy the all black silver toungue 5's. And they don't have my size. I'm bumming out, so I leave the store take one last look at the 5's in the front window. I Look closer and the pair on display are a size 12. I ask about them and Yes. My first pair of Jordans. This all took place in a small town in New Zealand so to even see a pair of Jordans was a blessing. Thx for your Videos man. I was 14 then, I'm 44 now. A Story from way-way back in the day.

Only way I can see my self wearing a pair of these is with a grey, white fit. They will throw your outfit off with any other color. Or at least that's just the way I see it. 4 is my favorite model but this right here is just more appropriate for young crowd.

The Jordan 4s are such a beautiful shoe, such a classic silhouette, not really feeling this What the... colourway, only because the og 4 colourways are grails and just prefer to wait for those, especially with the original Nike Air branding.

Those white cement 4 were rlly stiff, it had horrible leather. I wore mine once and sold them recently over retail.

The right shoe has all 4 colorways on it but the left shoe is missing the bred colorway on it. They messed up and put the military blue on the tounge and the back. Bred should be the back of the left shoe
