    Ppl focus on the Gospels saying Jesus being the "son of G-d", but the Bible seems clear that we are all (those who choose His ways) "sons" of G-d. We all existed, in a sense, in the mind of G-d, in the beginning. At least that is what I understand at this point. Feel free to correct as I'm still learning and I don't express myself perfectly, either. So, now, at this point, I don't see many of the the statements as is printed in the NT, attributed to Jesus, as remarkable as I used to. I don't ooh and aah and think that he was some kind of unique, divine being any more than any other human. I really have deliberated over this subject, filled with apprehension for quite awhile. I still, now and then, take my concerns to Hashem about it. I think Hashem directed me to Jews for a reason, so I'm just trusting that I'm on the right track and that Hashem has mercy and patience with my ignorance as I endeavor to keep learning, that my intentions are not to disrespect or reject Him or any part of Him, but to understand Him and His Oneness more perfectly. Thank you, also, for your kindness and patience in dealing with those of us coming from different backgrounds. I know sometimes we can make it extremely difficult as we wrestle with unlearning and relearning and we're not always very nice about it. Resistant, at times, would be putting it nicely. I appreciate the time, effort and scholarship you willingly share with the public, often enduring much unkindness in return. Shavua tov and Shanah tova.

      Yeah but you know jess don't believe in saying "Son of God" especially in those days they didn't walk around saying that about themselves. Because even the pharisees of that day knew what He meant

      @jdaze1 Před 2 lety

      You are correct. The gospels personified the living word as a man and the catholic church literalized IT. All foreknown believers are the Son of God. Those who believe the uncorrupted WORD of God. The word of God is alive and active when its birthed in anyone who follows the 10 commandments, repents and loves your neighbor as yourself. James 1:18, I Peter 1:3. Greek or Kjv. We must be born of the living word and spirit of HaShem the father. The 2 olive trees poured into us as lights to the world. Anyone who chooses to believe the WORD which is the way truth and life, are the sons of God. Rev. 21:7. There isn't just one man that is the annointed one. There are many. Youre on the right track. The traditions of men have been around for mellinia.

      @@jesusdeity2010 All this is according to how some people, who were born and raised in a completely different time, place, and culture, speaking a completely different language, interpret what they were taught and believe to be scripture, which was written thousands of years ago in a land far, far away, by an ancient people who spoke an ancient language who had direct communication with God. Unlike modern westerners who are so far removed from the actual people and events of the time.
      How can we be so sure we've got it right and they have it wrong? How can we be entirely sure that it is not us who have been sold a bill of goods and brain-washed into believing something that actually has little basis in truth?
      How can we be 100% sure we're not the ones who are misinterpreting a good deal of those ancient, foreign writings? We know what we're taught. How can we be sure that what we were taught is 100% pure fact?
      Where did those who taught us get their information? And who gave them their information? How do we know those sources are unadulterated? Because they said so? Should we believe, without question, everything we're taught because it was taught by passionate, charismatic speakers using persuasive words? Because they're people we admire and love?
      Because the narrative is so dramatic, compelling, and heart-wrenching? Does that make it the unadulterated truth? Greek myths are also dramatic, compelling and heart-wrenching, not to mention entertaining as is the crucifixion story.
      There are dramatic, compelling stories in every religion, culture and language, but we don't believe ALL of them to be complete truth. There are texts, compiled into books, written long before the NT, considered sacred by the people they were written for. Should all of those also be considered infallible truth? Where do we draw the line?
      You are drawing the line where you believe to draw it, according to what you were taught to be true. I do that too. Over time, I meet with thoughts, ideas, evidences that challenge that. Then questions arise. I have to investigate as best I can. Then, more often than I like, I find that I am faced with the choice of moving my line or living a lie.
      I'll be honest, sometimes, I have chosen to live the lie rather than give up my comfortable place. Until I realize that comfortable place is not as comfortable as I thought. It comes at a very uncomfortable price. That price being the forfeit of who I really am. What I know deep in my soul is true no matter what the majority around me may be compelling me to believe and do. It comes at the price of choosing the path toward fool's gold instead of true gold.
      You have the God given right to choose your path. I'm not here to convince you otherwise. What I AM saying is that people like me have that same right. Jews have that same right. We all have the right to choose what we believe to be true and what we don't. Jews have been beat over the head with Christian beliefs for hundreds of years now. Everyone is well versed in Christian doctrine. It's not news to anyone anymore. If you choose Christianity and are thoroughly satisfied with that choice, go and be happy. But let those of us who do not choose it go and be happy as well.

      @Strava 89 First of all the Book of Genesis and the others with exception of Torah related books such as Leviticus are not Torah becouse they do not dicatate what to do and what not to do which what Torah means basically. Second the scholars who proposed the Documentary Hypothesis pointed out that one Author can not possibly wrote those five books becouse their literal styles or the way they were written are different from one another and can not possibly come from one author. For instance the use different naming of the Creator when in one instance it was used Elohim and in another instance it was YAHWA. Please go and study it for your self rather than simply accept what so called authorities tells you to do. FYI the Nazarians were not also accepted the orthodox version of the Torah which we have today, they claimed that the Torah was corrupted especially by the Pharasies and goes through revisions especially during the Babilonian captivity. This is mainly why the Essenes had to separate themselves from the greater Israel becouse the Pharasies instituted Laws such as the sacrificial law that was not required by YAH. They (the Pharasies) absorved such an abhorrent traditions such as animal sacrifices from the surrounding non Israelite cultures.

The 9-branched menorahs that you may see, are called 'hanukkiah', and are used for the festival of Hanukkah. One candle is lit each day for 8 consecutive days, and the middle candle, used for lighting the other 8 candles is called a 'shamash', or 'helper candle'. 2. ALLAH condemns those who say Messiah is ALLAH(Almighty GOD). Rabbi takes us slowly on how Jesus evolved into a god(Idol) and how Christianity became Idolatry
      3. ALLAH told us that Jesus was not crucified, neither killed. Rabbi proves how corrupt the story of crucifixion is, contradictions of the Resurrection, interpolation of many stories pertaining to crucifixion and so on. Like he takes us back to what ALLAH is telling us in the Holy Quran.
      4. ALLAH talks about the Jewish Messiah being Jesus in the Holy Quran. Rabbi tells us exactly what the Messiah is supposed to be and do which is exactly what Jesus in the Holy Quran did.

This rabbi is very intelligent and has spent his life promoting Judaism and denouncing Christianity as a vile false religion, Isaiah 53 clearly speaks of Jesus as in 'He'. @Roscoe Rossi - Not unlike Paul for promoting his Meshichist agenda to a bunch of non-Jews that were ignorant of Judaism and only had paganism and Neo-Platonic philosophy to compare it to. It also didn't help that he used Greek words to convey proto-Rabbinic concepts, rather than translating them exactly and clearly referencing the Oral Traditions related to said concepts. Case in point.... Using "sarx" (flesh) and "pneuma" (spirit) to explain the Yetzer HaRa (Evil Inclination) and the Yezter HaTov (Good Impulse). Also, Paul failed to counter the teachings of the various proto-Gnostic schools of thought who followed in his wake and further confused his Noachide Meshichists. Paul should've known better given that it was an age given over to religious syncretism.

    • @smodval6793
      @smodval6793 Před 3 lety

      @Roscoe Rossi - Maybe so. I think this is a systemic problem with Messianism in general. People like to pin their hopes and dreams on someone else making the world a better place for them, instead of doing the necessary tikkun nefesh and tikkun olam to prepare the world for Moshiach.
      "Whenever one prays properly, binding his thoughts to his words, the aspect of Moshiach is perfected. When our righteous Moshiach comes, the unification of everything will be final and complete, and all the thoughts and letters of speech will be elevated. This aspect of Moshiach is perfected by every person during prayer or Torah study. Thus, the Baal Shem Tov taught that the soul of every Jew contains a part of Moshiach which he must perfect and prepare.
      As is know, the word adam (man) is an acrostic of Adam, David, Moshiach. The form of Adam HaRishon (the first man) encompassed the entire universe, for the souls of all Jews were included within him. After the first sin, his form was diminished. Similarly, the form of Moshiach will encompass all 600,000 [primary] Jewish souls, just as when they were part of Adam HaRishon, before the first sin. Therefore, every Jew must prepare the portion of Moshiach which his soul contains, until the entire structure has been completed and prepared. Then the ultimate and eternal unification will be accomplished-may it be speedily, in our days" (Me'or Einaim, Pinchos).

    • @smodval6793
      @smodval6793 Před 3 lety

      @Roscoe Rossi - Yes, the Adam Kadmon. Are you studying Tanya?
      Why 3 and others 5? Well, even the five levels can be broken down further. It depends on the teacher and the level of his students.
      Why tikkun nefesh and not tikkun ruach? Because you have to start the restoration at the lowest level with the nefesh habehamit (animal soul) and taming the Yetzer HaRa (Evil Inclination) and turning it into a servant of the Yetzer HaTov (Good Impulse), that is the nefesh ha'elokit (divine soul).
      R. Moshe Miller says like this, "The divine service associated with the level of Nefesh is acknowledgment of, and submission to, the supreme authority of G‑d, particularly in reference to the fulfillment of the commandments. It is therefore called "accepting the yoke of Heaven" - kabbalat ol malchut shamayim."
      The goal is to attain a level of bitul (self-nullification) whereby can become a conduit which Divine Chesed can flow through unabated. That's how we bring Heaven down to earth and repair this world and ultimately how we restore the Adam Kadmon.

    As usual I enjoy the Rabbi's words, and I always learn from him. I am one of those who have studied the Nazarenes and Ebionites from all of the references available, and I agree with their stance on Jesus and Judaism. According to the available resources, of course there were no Pauline Gospels during the lifetime of the Apostles, for a reason.... they would have condemned them.
    Having said that, the words of Jesus are preserved through the teachings of Peter in the Clementine Literature. There is nothing (and I've read the entire CL many times over the years, going so far as writing a chapter-by-chapter commentary (20 years' worth)) in the CL's that contradict Torah teachings....nothing. The same can't be said regarding the Greek Gospels. And, where Peter quotes extensively, Jesus' words and explains them to both the Jew and Gentile crowds, Paul in his epistles cannot boast the same. Read the CLs for yourselves...there is nothing in there a Jew would find offensive...or shouldn't.
    The Rabbi is awesome in his grasp and his ability to quote the NT. Having said that, I would love for him to be able to quote from the CL's as this was the "go to" reference of the Nazarenes/Ebionites. I would like for the Rabbi to either prove or disprove Jesus' words through Peter's teaching in the Clementines, or how it would be against the teachings of the Torah. I'm not sure he could....but, that is a discussion I would highly be interested in.

      (18) Come now, and let us reason together, Saith the Lord; Though your sins be as scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they be red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
      (19) If ye be willing and obedient, Ye shall eat the good of the land;
      (20) But if ye refuse and rebel, Ye shall be devoured with the sword; For the mouth of the Lord hath spoken.
      (21) How is the faithful city Become a harlot! She that was full of justice, Righteousness lodged in her, But now murderers.
      (22) Thy silver is become dross, Thy wine mixed with water.
      (23) Thy princes are rebellious, And companions of thieves; Every one loveth bribes, And followeth after rewards; They judge not the fatherless, Neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
      (24) Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, The Mighty One of Israel: Ah, I will ease Me of Mine adversaries, And avenge Me of Mine enemies;
      (25) And I will turn My hand upon thee, And purge away thy dross as with lye, And will take away all thine alloy;
      (26) And I will restore thy judges as at the first, And thy counsellors as at the beginning; Afterward thou shalt be called The city of righteousness, The faithful city.
      (27) Zion shall be redeemed with justice, And they that return of her with righteousness.

    ~6:12---If it is our tradition that Jesus did not claim to be the Messiah, but that claim was made for him, then why is it that so many orthodox Jews (usually Chasidic, in my experience) claim such a hatred for him due to his being a 'rusha?' If our tradition holds that he never claimed to be the Messiah, but such status was given him by future followers, then it stands to reason that the orthodox Jewish hatred of him for being a deceiver of Israel and rusha is illogical. Please note, I am aware of all the persecution that has been perpetrated against our people in the name of Jesus and understand this. Still, if it is our tradition that he (Jesus) never claimed such a status for himself, that this idea is widespread amongst frum Jews, then the hatred for Jesus as rusha is a bit baseless, if he never claimed it for himself. Hope my question makes sense.

      The Torah condemns someone as a heretic/coufer and rasha when someone influences the public to go against the covenant of G-d and introduces a weird commandment such as "drink my blood and eat my flesh in remembrance of me" which is a big contradictory to what was already given by HaShem at Mt Sinai.
      A heretic can't be part of Israel. He can't be buried where the religious Jews are. Don't have any ounce of mercy on a man like him for he is the cause of all the damage in this world.

      If Jesus is not the Messiah, there is no Messiah. If Jesus is not God, there is no God. If Jesus lied, there is no truth. If Jesus never existed, all history text books are doomed. If Jesus spoke truth, Muhammad is a false prophet. If Jesus is right, no Jew today is able to follow the Jewish Scriptures. This Rabbi is selling something which I am not buying because he is against Jesus. He who is against Jesus is my enemy. And yes, I love my enemies. 🙂

      "Jesus" said absolutely NOTHING that is attributed to him in the false, pagan NT, since he was already DEAD, at least 20 YEARS by the time it was written. Yet they quote him word for word - impossible! Just try to remember what YOU said yesterday, word-for-word - again, impossible. The NT is a false, pagan, man-made, anti-God, anti-Jewish, hate-filled, replacement theology work of fiction, that did NOT come from God!

      Get yourself a Jewish Bible (TANACH - Hebrew scriptures, comprised of the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings, i.e. Psalms, Proverbs, etc.) so you can see for yourself what God ACTUALLY said to us!
