I remember this issue of Nintendo Power because my brothers and I still quote the little blurb from the beginning with Paper Mario and Vivian where he says " Hey, I've got an idea. Let's swap hats"

You have the best/softest ASMR voice ever. I unfortunately don't have alot of triggers but soft spoken ASMR is one of the few and your videos are the best by far. I've searched tons of different creaters on here and when I found your channel I was very happy. Oh and I'm a gamer too so I'm pretty pumped on your retro gaming videos 😂 Keep on doing what you do. Great video. Really enjoy all your video game stuff. Last game system I had was literally PlayStation 2. Lol but damn this old Nintendo stuff is so nostalgic. N64 dominated my life for several years when it came out. It was a game changer. I definitely had a few gaming magazine subscriptions including Nintendo power. Used to read them during lunch at school.

Ooh I love this so much. I'm an OG gamer. I started collecting Nintendo Power back in the NES days. I still have all of my issues packed away. My favorite ones are when the hype was all about the upcoming Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and there would be awesome articles devoted to the first run of games for it. Listening to you read about the GameCube is especially cool because I never had one and missed out on a lot of great games back then. Please continue with these magazine read thrus. Your soft spoken voice makes it absolutely delightful. 💗
Oh the memories! I used to buy a lot of magazines years ago, about science, technology, music, movies, fashion...and of course videogames. I still have many of them, some even included posters (I have one of Twilight Princess). Thanks for this video, your content is super cool! 👾
Great video, I hope you do more gaming magazine/strategy guide reads, very nostalgic. I wish I'd kept my hundreds of Gamepros from the 90s, I'd have sent you the whole box to do videos on.
Your much older magazine is in way better condition than my only Nintendo Power issue from 2010. I have the NES 25th Anniversary issue with a bunch of 8-bit sprites on the cover. It's really worn, sadly.

Baten Kaitos is a wonderful RPG. The card mechanic in battle is unique and engaging. Good news is that the remaster is coming to Switch.

Juicy Fruit "Grape R Melon"! I recognized that pack of gum as soon as I saw it! That was my absolute favorite back in the day! Sadly, I believe it's since been discontinued.

Really liked Second Sight back in the day. Was sort of an experimental game from the studio that was known for the TimeSplitters series of games.
Kinda weird seeing games like Baten Kaidos and Pikmin 2 with both hitting switch this year 😳 😅
Gonna wait for pikmin 1&2 physical release in September and Baten Kaidos 1&2, doesn't have a physical copy for North America. Gonna have to preorder from Play-asia at some point 🤔

Oh my god, I actually remember this issue! I wanted to send in an order for Leaf Green but my mom didn't trust the idea of buying anything from a magazine. Instead we bought a cartridge on ebay and had it shipped from China 🤣 Way more legit I know.
