  • Follow a town walk around Padstow, looking at the beautiful cottages, exploring the alleys and church, arriving at Prideaux Place to take a leisurely look at the fallow deer before returning to the harbour. I particularly enjoyed the pasty seller outside The Padstow Pasty Company, crying out "Pasties! £1.50!" and how she became so shy when I asked her to say it to camera - bless her!!
This video compliments our town walk released on Friday 23rd April, following the exact route step-by-step. To watch our vlog of this walk, here is the address: • Quaint Streets and Pre... .
Our virtual walks are designed for you to exercise from home using a treadmill or other exercise equipment or simply to relax at home and enjoy!
This was filmed during a relaxation of the COVID government guidelines and at a time when we were allowed to travel for exercise but holiday accommodation was still subject to restrictions. This means that we had a golden opportunity to film the quaint streets and pretty lanes whilst relatively unpopulated by visitors.
    The standard description bit…
We are Sarah and Andrew and we film our walks around Cornwall and publish on CZcams, usually weekly. Sometimes we stay in accommodation in Cornwall and upload our vlog. Sarah is fascinated by sea glass and likes to collect it so there may be the occasional sea glass video too. The channel is a hobby and we both have normal day jobs!
    Frequently asked questions:
    What camera do we use?
Since December 2018 we have used: Canon Powershot G7x MkII
How do I find the books you use?
Most are still in print although some we pick up in charity shops and may be available on Amazon secondhand. Please refer to the video for the book titles. Every video shows the book three times. Sorry but we can’t put a link in every description.
Best time of year to visit Cornwall?
We love May, June for flora and fauna, July and September for spectacular scenery.
    What is your dog’s name?
Sorry but we do not release the name of our dog, perhaps you can make up your own name for him.

Pretty Padstow 😍 And so lovely to "walk" with you. I have been there 3 times but haven't seen everything yet. Great to see the man feeding the deer. It is the same person as in 2012 when I was visting Padstow the first time 🥰 Thank you 😍

At 40.55 the shop facing up the steps belonged to my wife for 15 years until her retirement in 2005. Was the Attic Leathergoods.

Catching up with some of your back catalogue, Padstow is my favourite place in Cornwall so this brings back a lot of happy memories 😊 BTW can I just check, were those pasties £1.50? 😂

I love this walk so much, but it feels dystopian somehow, like the people have all disappeared, I really hope it becomes packed wirh tourists like it should be, and support local businesses.

  • @meestermeesterhastings.3159

In 1979 Padstow was rammed with fishing boats this is the result of the E.U. today.......

I have liked the video but prefer the chatty one. I think the grave stone refers to Adam having a nibble on Eav's apple.

Bought a large and a medium one in Wadebridge recently from the best pasty maker around and they cost £8.50.

Is Andrew not well, is he on a diet, or has he gone vegan? Passing an offer of pasties @£1.50? Something wrong unless - there was a cut in the film about the second time you passed and I reckon he must have scoffed one or two before carrying on! Clever edit! Loved it, but oh too quiet.
