Road Trip in Patagonia, Chile

This is a 20-day, 2,674-km road trip on National Route 7 (also known as "Carretera Austral"), which runs north-south through Chile's Patagonia region. We went back and forth between Puerto Montt (north) and Chile Chico (central).
We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and glacier trekking while staying in various towns, not to mention driving, viewing the scenery from the car windows, and traveling by ferry (the sea road connecting road to road).
Patagonia, as a whole, is more than 1,000 km from north to south, so the northern part of the country is very lush and green, while the central part is magnificent, and it was a different world far beyond what we had imagined beforehand.
It was also a wonderful road trip where we met new friends and experienced the kindness of the Chilean people.
チリのパタゴニア地方を南北に走る国道７号（別名「Carretera Austral」）をプエルトモント（北部）からチリチコ（中部）まで往復した20日間、2,674kmのロードトリップです。
車のドライブ、車窓から眺める景色、フェリーでの移動（道路と道路をつなぐ海の道）はもちろん、いろいろな町に宿泊しながらハイキングやカヤック、氷河トレッキングを楽しみました。
一口にパタゴニアと言っても、南北に1,000km以上も離れているため、北部は緑がとても豊かな一方、中部は荒涼とした景色が広がり、事前の想像を遥かに越える別世界でした。
また、旅先での新しい出会いやチリの人たちの優しさに触れた素晴らしいロードトリップでした。
