This was so much fun to watch girls, Holly is an exceptional rider in my opinion and the way she rode Dee and Jam was lovely she’s great on any horse she sits on. Meg you’ll definitely learn so much from Holly even though you are a beautiful rider too. The foal is absolutely gorgeous that chapter can’t come quick enough for me. Even more exciting is Holly jumping Bear now that I must see. Glad you both had great fun and I can’t wait for more.tfs😎🏇😎
Please can you convince Meg to come to Australia! It would be amazing to see her with you, and potentially going to Adelaide 5*!!

@@Narla-dc9tm thats what i said cause theyre trying to get her pregnant this year and then the following year get her pregnant again so itll be atleast a few years before shes back to riding her let alone jumping her

It's funny, I started watching you because of your trip to Lauren in Dubai a few years ago, then I started watching Meg after she visited you a few years ago! Great to see you at her place and riding her lovely ponies! I always forget how tall you are until I see you on a horse that's not 17hh!

How great to be and have fun together with friends. That balans is a bit dangerous to jump on. Better sit on the lowest level, push a bit andthen it works the same. Also in the water, very funny.

So happy to see a new vlog! I was worried that something happened. I mean it's not like you're a busy vet with 5 horses to take care of or anything like that!!
It's been so long since I've heard the thoroughbred book series mentioned! :D :D Kinda cool to know the other horsey girls ALL around the world we're reading them growing up (might have to revisit the series, too!)
They're really expensive on secondhand sites too, which is unfortunate. They were my favorite series growing up.

@@bethanys-herd My library is generally good and they only have some of the series. I was hoping they would have published them as ebooks but unfortunately they haven't. I'm sure they would be super cringe today but that doesn't make them any less nostalgic.

This is brilliant, love the non-horsey bits too! Holly, how the hell do you have a backwards farmer's tan on your legs? That is impressive! If Meg can handle that swing, she can easily tackle a 5 star now. That swing is far scarier than big girl Badders or the Hickstead Derby bank. 🙃

Top Tip !! Use a Watering can .. When you get a hole started pour some water in the hole !! its a lot easier !!!🤣

The series was started with Wonder I think, then the horses and characters changed. I loved it growing up.

In NZ you go out for a hack. Trail ride is usually a company that takes people out on trails , people pay for it. Another name used for this is also Horse Treks.
There are also Hack classes at shows.
But we definitely go out for a hack around the roads or around the farm.

I thought you were english, but now i know you're irisch. For me it's like the same, but irish mostly think diferent than english. That's what i think at least. In ireland they are many beautiful horses, stables and breeders. 💞👍

Actually, when I was jumping my instructor used to make me come to a full stop if my horse started rushing the fence. (Of course, he could jump 3’6” from a standstill.) That way he stayed confused as to whether we were actually going to jump or not & stopped rushing. Also (I now ride Western Pleasure) if you just stop riding (relax the body & sit deep) they will actually come down to a full stop or slow down.
