- The VENGEFUL Robo Spider In BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - spooky season may be over but this guy isn't ready to leave! This is a mod that transforms 4 super monkeys into one terrifying spider that does massive amounts of damage with its dozen legs and paralyzing glue. Not to mention the stunning cobwebs.

I mean don't rag on other mods, those take heaps of time and effort as well. But this is something completely different, massive kudos to this mod creator!
It not really "3D modeled" in the traditionally sense as it is made up of asset's that are already in the game like other mods, this mod is just use the assets more creatively. It's still cool though don't get me wrong

@@LemonDemmon yeah, I was blown away when I saw the legs moving! Like, fundamentally I understand that it's a helicopter model that replaced darts with bloon solver projectiles, but the tower itself and the way it moves and operates is god damn incredible! I didn't even know you could animate custom towers!

Really hope one day modded towers will have the same fluidity as the vanilla ones, this one having a unique model and animation seems like a good step in that direction
This isn't the type of thing where the quality progresses over time, the reason this one is so good is because someone spent a lot of time making it look polished

NGL, that'd be cool for a way to include bloonchipper. Its an engineer type hero that remote controls a bloonchipper. maybe at level 4 you can follow mouse, and level 7 it can set to pursuit

I think the Overclock only applies to the solver shots, since it buffs attack speed. The legs are coded most likely as razer rotors, since it's a heli pilot, which means they can't be buffed. So given that the solver already has full uptime damaging the bad, it doesn't pop any sooner.
At first glance, this didn't even look like a mod, I just thought, "oh sick, super paragon?" Modded content is getting so insane so quickly.
Given this isn't a "conventional" paragon, I bet we could see each super monkey path get its own "not-quite-a-paragon". We've got the vengeful TSG for top path, robo-spider for middle path, so what modder will bring us bottom path?

It's a combination of 4 towers: 1 helipilot and 3 spike factories. The reason why camo village didn't work on cobwebs is that the factories wasn't in its range i guess

aside from its platform looking like a broken mesh of textures, this looks absolutely stunning. the btd6 modders have made a lot of progress it seems, this is crazy

To me the impressive part is the skin, damn can't wait to see full blown towers, (I just know it's will happen).
Because in reality it's an helipilote with bloon solver projectiles and razor blades,the spider webs are cool tho don't seem to directly copy something existing and change the projectile.

The fact that this is actual custom 3D model of all the other models we have seen so far... Wow
the art for the mod legit looks like something nk would create. also based on the towers its coded on, the webs dont hit ddts because its a 1-0-0 spactory, it can not pop lead, and apparently foam de-leads ddts lol, if i had to guess, overlock doesnt work as well because 3-2-0 heli doesnt inherit overclock? not sure about the last one
ROBOT ISAB would make a good commentator for this
this mod is incredible partially because of the mod's mechanics, but it also has a NEW 3D MODEL FOR THE TOWER, WHICH LIKE LITERALLY NEVER HAPPENS WITH MODS

Absolutely incredible how well this mod turned out. Super cool repurposing of existing designs, mainly being the dart monkey paragon legs. I cant overstate how amazing this mod is. Honestly it might just be *too* cool. Ninja Kiwi hiring this guy is almost inevitable.
The DDTs probably didn't get affected by the cobwebs the first time as it still has the lead property.

i think the camo village didn't affect the cobwebs because it only affected the heli part of the spider, and not the spike factories, just like how it works with x5x heli holding a tower

Try to beat balance, using only the tiny circle in the middle of the map, so basically you can only have one tower at a time.

I hope btd7 has secret towers like this. Just a ton of combo tires, in the style of the vengeful sun god, that we have to figure out experimentation when the game comes out. This is just so freaking creative and fun

So it's a 3-0-0 Heli Pilot that shoots Quad Bloon Solver with 3 spike factories on it as well as 4 Dart Paragons for legs and it also does damage on contact? Neat.

TBH, it sounded like the paragon mod for super. vengeful can be top path (since it's for the temple), robo for the middle, and it can move for the bottom path.
It's basically 3xx heli, but upgrades are overbuffed

This gives me a cool idea for a hero, actually. Imagine something like a mech-pilot hero that is regularly pretty weak, but you can sacrifice towers to it to give it new abilities. Like if you sacrifice a certain amount of money in specifically the glue gunner tower, then it will shoot solver glue, or if you sacrifice a certain amount of money with the dartling gunner then it will gain a super fast auto-aiming turret. The main drawback is that you can only have one or two upgrades active at once (and adding new ones replaces the oldest currently active one), and the only damage it deals without upgrades is in the legs, and maybe a weak turret once it levels up a couple times. Abilities would obviously consist of the sacrifice ability, which gains in effectiveness with leveling (so the level 3 version of the ability could only accept $5000 in tower sacrifice giving you the lowest tier of upgrade in that type, whereas the max level would allow you to sacrifice up to $50k to get a max tier). The other ability could be something simple like overclocking it to gain faster walk and attack speed for a short period.
The camo village gives the tower the ability to target camo bloons, and most projectiles are coded so that they can pop camo bloons if the tower can see them. It looks like the spider could already target the DDTs with projectiles; the webs simply weren't hitting because they weren't coded to hit camo bloons if the spider could see them, hence why the village buff didn't do much. It's likely the spider mod uses the Bloonsolver projectile for its main attack, which couldn't hit camo bloons without a village. The webs are a brand new projectile attack implemented with this mod, and it's likely it wasn't tagged with 'pop_camo_if_radar_radius', or whatever that tag is. The engineer's cleansing foam removed the camo properties from the DDT, and since they were no longer had the camo property, the webs were able to hit them.
