- This lecture was delivered to a group of New Muslims at the annual New Muslim Retreat in England. The speaker is Shaykh Abdurraheem Green. The topic is "The belief in messengers". As Muslims, we accept all the prophets and messengers who came to deliver the message of Tawheed (The Oneness of God) and the laws and moral codes by which we are to live our life. This lecture touches upon that foundational understanding and empowers the New Muslim to be confident in their faith.

The Prophet (sa) said "When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three; ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous offspring who will pray for him." (Muslim)

There are only 2 proofs or the true knowledge or the truths.
1. AlQuran - KalamuAllah/Words of Allah in human language.
For amr aldeen (religious affairs) and war perfectly interpretated by Prophet Muhammad SAW to be followed.
2. Nature - AyatuAllah/signs of Allah in His creative language.
For amr aldun-ya (worldly affairs) interprets as sciences (but must be consistent with AlQuran....must acknowledge the existence of consciousness which is ontologically ignored by secular science).
