Holy Shit, I just realized that the referee that was counting the last game is actually a player at my club. I knew he was allowed to be a referee at the WTTTC but I didn't know he was going to count the final. Otherwise I would've given him a shirt of mine to ask the players for signatures haha.

ON that rally at 3-6 I think I got exhausted for the crowd cheering at every attacking shot. Brilliant rally.

XX has extreme arm movement and swing when forehand looping
Mizutani has improved but not enough. There are still so shots that he could have made over the net. I guess that has to do with fundamentals and instinctive abilities, which are hard to train or would take many repetitions to improve.

+mikee5284 or Freitas or Ovcharov. If you want to beat the very top guys it seems you need a BH counterloop. Fishing only extends a point, it rarely wins it.
素人目ですが。。。中国チームの対水谷の作戦は一つ。「持ち上げさせて叩く。」それができるだけの技量があるってことです。「叩かれたボールをいかに打ち返すか」ってことですが、水谷のループを叩ける練習相手がいるのか？という話もあります。がんばれ。

Question. When you have those smash-volley rallies... why doesn't the smasher do a drop shot and make the vollier run in. Is it because it's easy for the vollier to run in?
yep they have really fast footwork but some players do it
otakurocklee I may be a little late but there’s a few reasons 1. You can only drop shot of a lob close to the net and at this level it is rare to have a bad lob that lands close to the net. 2. If the drop shot goes wrong or anything it gives the opponent a chance to get back into the rally and become more attacking instead of keeping him pinned on the backhand lob where he can’t win points!
Absolutely love all the cheering and chanting! And to hell the usual silence: nothing would be better than playing with so much cheering

yes shiningV those guys just always finding reasons when losing to chinese - just neglect the main reason. it might be the reason that japanese can't catch up with chinese in pingpong.
yes crowd was noisy. however, if crowd is so crucial why XX could win japan open 2015? there was flooding of japanese crowd there!

请注意观察：水谷的扣杀是曲着手臂的，中国队员的扣杀几乎都是手臂伸直的。两者的力矩差了一倍，因此力量也能差一倍，球速也是差一倍。手臂伸直的扣杀优点是球速快，力量很足；缺点是难度很高（首先跑位必须很合适才能手臂伸直）而且肩膀容易磨损太大，恢复训练不行的话几年下来伤病很多。去看中国乒乓球俱乐部超级联赛，几乎每个队员都是手臂伸直扣杀的，不这样根本杀不死。
感覺某國某部份球迷很奇怪......輸了就推三推四 = =

+賴志偉 坦白說觀眾炒熱氣氛可以，但是應當在回球的的時候靜下來。動不動就喊叫，又不是拔河比賽，感覺這次完美準備的觀眾有失應有的觀賽水準。

The crowd should keep quiet when they are playing. This is table tennis, not football lol.
Its what makes the game more fun, it boosts player confidence and competitiveness.
Honestly, JM's touch game and everything else is superb. had he played against anyone else, he'd steamrolled them. Unfortunately, JM had to face one of the four outliers, XX. The good thing is, once these outliers (ML, XX, ZJK) retire, chinese will back to the mortal realm once more. I don't see the gap between young chinese and the world's.

To be honest, neither of them are playing very well. Xu Xin's backhand was terrible and Mizutani's made tons of errors.

物理の知識がないやつに、俺が説明してやる。
「補助剤」というのは、その人のスウィングの本来の速度を無理やり上げる（Doping）のではなく、そのスウィングの本来の勢いをいかに100％近く維持するかというもののです。言い換えると、現在の卓球ラケットのいたやラバーに関して、たくさん研究はされてきたが、まだ、ボールのインパクトで一部の力（動力）が吸収されて、なかなかボールにスウィングの本来のスピードは伝達しきれていない。そこで、ラバーの開発、板の開発と同じ目的で、補助剤の開発も同じ目的で、全然悪いもんではない。一部の接着剤は環境や健康に悪いものはあってので、それはすでに、明らかに禁じられている。
以上のことも分からないので、「補助剤」の話を言い出すやつままず黙って、勉強しろ。また、100年前のラケットでも使ってみて、そのくっその誇り高く試合に臨んでみろ。バカ！！

Mizutani may be a good player, but have a cheap personality. He complains too much.
Once he had a match with FZD, and the rally lasted for 1 min, FZD won the point, and Mizuani complained about the ball, the Referee didn't admit his claim, then he behaved like a jerk, played the rest of the game like he doesn't want to be there.
I like Oshima Yuya better, he has a continental personality: straight forward, play aggressively, doesn't hold personal resentment.
Well, you have to forgive some of the Japanese for their hypocritical narrow mind, they are living in a stressful society.
