Boom You don’t understand how booking and setting up fights work. A boxer can say and want to fight any other boxer out there but there are usually logistics and stats that prevents that. There’s a reason why a boxer doesn’t face off against the champion in their pro debut. This video is proof of that, the fight shouldn’t have been booked in the first place

RS1 fighters take fights to earn money regardless that’s just how it goes. However there’s several steps in place to protect fighters like the Licensing commissions, promoters, and trainers. Boxing in general is known for padding records and feeding lambs to the slaughter. That’s why a lot of people love the UFC where MMA fighters don’t get the luxury of “gimmie fights” and boxing should be ran the same way. Too bad everyone’s wrapped up in their records.

Estrada was 97-4 as an amateur. Everyone saying Adkins “looked like an amateur” does not understand what that means in boxing. Amateur is the cauldron that forges pro champions. A pro boxer just signs a piece of paper to become a pro. The real education in the sport comes at the amateur level. Adkins had no amateur career. She started training at 39 and turned pro at 41. This is the result.
