- Lok Sabha Speaker: President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday appointed Member of Parliament Bhartruhari Mahtab as Pro-tem Speaker of Lok Sabha under Article 95(1) of the Constitution to perform the duties of Speaker till election of the Speaker.
