In a deep WR class, Arkansas WR Treylon Burks managed to raise his draft stock a lot. People knew he had solid size & hands, but he really showcased his speed & his ability to create separation. In 2021, Burks caught 66 passes with 1,104 yards & 11 TDs.

Born March 23, 2000. Played high school football for the Warren Jacks (AR). Played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Drafted #18 overall by the Tennessee Titans.
He reminds me a lot of DT, big body with sneaky speed. RIP DT!!

I really wanted him to stay one more year in Arkansas but this is best for him built like a truck and gigantic hands but because he is a bigger frame doesn't mean he is slow Dude can torch defenses. All I can say is that I hope that the team that drafts him uses him well.
He wins those 1 on 1 jump balls, he just snatches em up.
Im reeling from the news. I completely understand the economics of the NFL, but it doesn't ease the sting. Just when I started feeling good about next seasons hope. We lose our #1 reciever. Was so excited about players getting healthy again, and running at 100%. Then this happens. Its a tough blow, but got to look on the bright side. Treylon looks pretty impressive. AJ was hurt lots last year and I think the tension was already there because words were spoken. I think the titans did the right thing before they got stuck with someone who refused to play. Some guys do that.

The problem with the 40 time for him is by the time he's full speed he's basically at the end of the 40 kind of like how Leonard Fournette ran a 4.51 but everyone knew he could run faster than that when he get's a full head of steam.

If he runs a low 4.4 or FASTER then he's gonna be the first receiver taken off the board. And there are so many teams that need a big bodied play maker. The Ravens, Saints, and Eagles need him the most.

@@jackh4484This is false. I've watched every single game he's played in college and a few in high school. He has great hands. He had a few drops earlier I the season bc he and the first yr starting qb were not in sync and due to inaccuracy. He has great hands and comes down with 50/50 balls on the regular and even 1 handers in traffic. His needs polish as a route runner for sure. But a lot of guys in the league did coming in as well. His hands won't be an issue on the next level.

Why not go after this kid regardless?? What seemed to hurt the Packers the most, was not having a WR to take the top off once we lost MVS. It absolutely killed us vs SF. We could use a couple of guys with speed even if 12 and 17 return. This kid could be present #2 and future #1 post Rodgers/Adams. Stack this offense up a little at pass catcher around Rodgers if we're bringing him back. Give him the chance to shred anybody cause they can't cover all our guys.

This is one of those guys that plays faster then his combine speed. He may have only ran a 4.5( still fast but not a 4.3) , but I see him on the field running away from people.

@@kylecameron5293 Actually, J Taylor was clocked at 22 MPH in NFL last year. I think the 40 can be deceiving though as Burks top speed is obviously great as he ran away from defenders on long TD's. His running style kinda reminds me of Derrick Henry or Julio with the long glide that can be deceptive.
Losing AJ hurts for sure, but this guy could be something special.

This class of WRs is not the previous couple drafts quality however Burks has that quality to be a Super Superstar WR and will be dominate at the next level. He may not be a Jamar Chase but he can be a Davante Adams type WR at the NFL level. By far the best WR in this class and #2 is not close.
