Choose the right mother and father. Then choose the right country. Selecting them wisely determine the quality of life. For example, not picking a father with a colonial past matters. Inheriting a history of idleness and servitude? Picking an absurdity which isn’t even a country ought to be viewed as crime. A good father foster “calm” at home critical to intellectual development. An Enlightened father offers a bookshelf with books covering Aristotle and modern writers like Conrad. Renaissance artists like Da Vinci. Indian writers like Naipaul. Under the influence of this greatness, a person stands like the statue of David.

The Adhan is an invitation by Allah to come to success. How many Pakistanis and indeed Muslims today are accepting Allah’s invitation to success? You mentioned Imam Hussain R.A. He did not leave salat even in the battle field. He knew the importance of obeying Allah. Rasul Allah s.a.w stated there is no Islam without salat. It is the dividing line between Islam and Kufr. It is like head in a body. See for yourself how many so called Muslims today are obeying this simple, easy command of Allah. Allah is so merciful that despite this disobedience He is still not destroying the Muslims completely. He is giving them time to repent and start obeying.
Salat is the ABC of Islam. One cannot read Shakespeare without knowing ABC. Muslims today are trying to do that.

Five times namaz, salat, is mandatory. Person not doing it is disobeying Allah at least five times a day. Namaz is also training how to obey Allah rest of the day as you mentioned about the parade is training for the war. Imagine a person is obeying Allah in namaz but not rest of the time. That is like a person obeying the commander in the parade but not in the war. The Shaitan is the declared enemy of the human being. Most people don’t even know they are fighting a war against the Shaitan. If they lose this war they will go to Jahanum forever.

@@KAMALK320 Naeem Bukhari is a very intelligent person. He will understand the relevance of the comment if he reads it. Allah has already chosen the role model in the person of Rasul Allah s.a.w. Muslims cannot choose anybody else as a role model if we want to remain Muslims. Even the non-Muslims acknowledge that Rasul Allah s.a.w. is the most successful person in history.
