Have to agree on the remote, I put off getting Lacroix's first board based on the 'off the shelf' remote. I emailed Alex(1 of Lacroix founder ) and the reason for that remote was the connectivity to the board was reliable and customers can easily replace it. The new Nazare comes with the flipsky remote, I find it similar to Boosted's remote (I think boosted has the best remote). In a forum Alex hinted at looking into another remote, it's sad they don't put any effort into their remotes as they do their boards. Another thing Lacroix does is low-ball their weight limit, range, speed and shipping.

Alex the owner has explicitly said that you can still get speed wobbles at high speed. The new trucks help minimize them.

I understanding about the shipping cost. It’s crazy expensive. I sent a product to Australia it cost me $235. And it was only a box 📦 that was 1x1x1 foot. and only 5lbs.

The motors aren’t 6389. Much bigger than 6374. Those motors are beasts. I world get Lacroix but I need something with street setups.

Don't worry about that. The NLS pro uses a hobby wing ESC. Is it very very smooth, has amazing acceleration, speed, flex, range and comfort. You will be extremely happy trust me. Read samjadelaide.com review on it
@@FabiTRAVELSI'm up there in weight about 200 Lbs. Seems pretty sketchy that it doesn't come to a complete stop. I would imagine the heavier you are the better the stopping power would be no?
the KALY XL50 also comes with 12S12P batteries with GEAR drive and AT/Street setup. I will be getting the KALY over lacroix.
Same here but Lacroix is still faster.. Ernesto just can’t handle credit cards from Europe and Paypal is even more expensive
Kaly 50 has 18650 cells vs LaCroix 20700 cells.

20700 cells will give you a lot more cycles too.
Trucks on the Lacroix are going to be vastly superior as is the deck. It's really about how much you value that gear drive.
I think the gear drive will be more robust, no belt to break
@@noka7776 yeah but I'll take a better truck and deck any day. I carve all the time, I change a belt every 250 miles. It's a worthwhile tradeoff in my books.

I was on my kaly board and my friend passed me on the nazare and got speed wobbles and crashed. I was going 29mph so he was probably around 35.

Why would anyone go faster than 45 km/h? If you ride over 50 km/h over some gravel you didn't spot in time, you'll probably just start drifting and either break an arm or fucking die
The problem is that Europe has very few GOOD QUALITY roads. The US and Canada have loads and loads of new and good roads, but Europe doesn't have very good roads, and a bunch of them are cobblestone.

First and second week of September shipping, I guess your right, I'm glad I whent with the one wheel, didn't even see that when I was checking em out yesterday. One wheel already shipped
$2,500 is my limit. Can't go with LaCroix unfortunately. Gonna take me till the beginning of September to comfortably save up that much for my e-board. I've decided to go with the Metroboard-X. I just hope they don't come out with a flexible-X deck shortly after I buy mine. Plus the Metroboard comes with street and AT option.

@@gghdjekrkk7711 Genuinely curious as to why you think the GTR is better than the Metroboard-X? From all the forums I've read, Evolve has terrible customer service, and Metro has some of the best. Specs on the X and GTR are about the same. Only advantage I see from the GTR is the bamboo deck. What are your thoughts?

I love gear drive. My friend’s building his own board with an etoxx gear drive. I would too but there isn’t one for the trucks I want, which is one issue I have with them. Also, changing gear ratios is pretty much impossible so you can’t really swap between urethanes and pneumatics. And they’re more expensive, which sucks. But they do seem really nice

Yeah if they made their own remote we wouldn’t see this board out for another year. It takes a long time to design, engineer, manufacture and test a remote. Look at the new Enertion, that thing will be at least a year before it is out and that’s from a company that specializes in micro electronics. I’d rather have it with the X1 than no board at all.

Is the NLSP in Pro mode? My brakes are nowhere near that weak, they work great.

I rode the meepo and the brakes I thought were weak.
@@jasonhushmonkey You're right. I noticed it when I was going downhill at higher speeds, car came out quickly and I had to turn 90 degrees because the brakes didn't cut it.
Apart from the brakes and having no handle it's a great board for the price, 8/10.

Why would you use “the worlds fastest electric skateboard” when for sure it isn’t. A Kaly would smoke it any day. At my DIY would too. It’s not the fastest, there definitely is faster boards out there. And if you going to come back saying “production board” a lacroix isn’t. Shit is a DIY at the end of the day.

Fabi Ernesto’s Board are in the DIY category. They may be production boards but nothing is proprietary to them. So if you wanted to change something you easily can.
Kaly nyc eboards are not faster than lacroix boards they have a top speed of 38mph and lacroix boards have a top speed of 41mph
