I also left in 2013 to join the military. Got out after 4 years but remain living overseas ever since. Chose the Air Force but I do wonder why I never joined the Coast Guard since the boats are all around PH
I moved back to Port Huron in 2017. Love it here! The downtown is alive and the real estate is still priced really well (compared to the rest of Michigan, at least).
You should be aware, that the 'LIVE' stream service has 24/7 'live' camera working here on CZcams. The service has numerous sites (StreamTimeLive) along the St. Clair River: also at Sault Ste Marie at the Soo Locks and from Anchorage, Alaska at Lake Hood Sea Plane Base, which is adjacent to the Anchorage International Airport.

Thank you for your service. I'm a former Big Red. I left in 78 did 3 years in the Army and came back in 81. Don't live there anymore.

Yeah that camera can see everything you can' even see what you're doing in your car when you park down there that thing has a strong lens
