im confused by the window in the case of a fire can you all get out of that window? I'm not sure why they built in long but not tall in height for comfortable escape.
the mattress goes on top of that frame! i didn't put it on yet as we were just building the frame part out. but with the mattress on top (you'll see in the next video) it looks much better/complete :)
I wouldn't like a fireplace real or otherwise in my bedroom. I want a completely dark room when I go in there to sleep. Bad enough I have a TV in there which is hardly ever watched. A fireplace is best suited for the living room or family room. Or a firepit outside to sit around. I crack up when all the people in these videos try to cover up outlets, vents or whatever. those items are in all rooms of everyone's homes. they are there for a purpose.
