I remember this from my childhood, I always watched I love toy trains and was delighted to know that you guys made more of them after the final show. Even as a 13 year old I learned stuff from this single video alone, I hope you guys make more in the future.
This is one of my favorite scenes from ILTT 12, these marvelous streamliners kick Amtrak into the ground... If only today's passenger trains were like these beauties.
Jordan Varkonda though I seek to work for the means of transport that replaced them, I agree that there was a certain style to rail travel that has since been lost.
Yet another one of my favorite segments. Seeing such a variety of streamline designs made we wonder what it’d be like to see all these in real life, especially the Aerotrain. Also, the song at the end - 900 Miles - is one of my all time favorite songs from the series.
Meganekkos Express two of the 3 aerotrains are preserved right now. Number 1 is at the Museum of Transportation in St Louis and aerotrain number 2 is preserved in Green Bay, WI at the National Railroad Museum
@@northwoodsrailproductions4538 My special needs son loves classic streamlined passenger trains and he that the 2 Aerotrains that are preserved should be restored to operation!
Wow what a way to bring me back to my childhood! I used to watch one of the ILTT vhs tapes to the point of almost wearing it out! I love this! Thank you TMbooks!
My son is special needs and he loves trains 🚆🛤🚋🚞🚝🚊🚉🚈🚇🚅🚄🚃🚂 they're one of his favorite things in the whole world 🌎! He thinks streamlined passenger trains like the Burlington Zephyr, Union Pacific M10,000, City of Denver, and the Aerotrain are highly underrated and thinks that the Zephyr and the Aerotrain should be restored to operation and the M10,000 and the City of Denver should be rebuilt by Progress Rail, Siemens, or any other company that builds railroad equipment.
Henry Ault funny thing is of course, the Lionel city of Denver is the only streamliner here from the thirties. Everything else is a new model of a historic train. The m10005 is a historic model of a new train. Makes it pretty special really. :)
Nostalgia at its finest...🖤
I like how they named the locomotives based on mythology creatures and legendary titles instead of serial codes and road numbers.

Of all the Streamliners shown in this segment, my favorite was the M-10,000, the AeroTrain and Burlington Zephyr are both a close second.
The song screams childhood in my head
Marc Le Slac yeah, same lmao

Oregon western railroad Productions SERIOUSLY!! Back in the pre Amtrak days, trains were super classy, they treated you like royalty!
@@Bondmanproductions the people of today are missing alot from the old day. personally i would take a train 10 times over a car or plane.

Did anyone else notice something. The AeroTrain is the only streamliner shown that was not made in the 1930’s.
