For anyone with deeper skintones the I need a nude palette is more suitable for medium to fair skin tones, so beware before you purchase. The palette however, looks stunning.
Yeah it was an immediate pass for me..but the yucca I may have to pick up..we will see lol 😊
@@heavaforeva I've seen darker skin reviewers review that palette and it works for our skin tone, it looks pretty as well but I'm a neutral girlie

@sabryccabatchelor7622 Thank you for pointing this out the ND palette is only suitable for fair to medium skin tones only. I tried this on in store (medium deep) skin, and this was horrible on me.
you can try the juvias place coffee shop palette, it is the perfect neutral palette for persons with a deeper skin tone, i believe it is in ulta stores.@@keodi1
I definitely don't like the trend of adding SPF to makeup. I feel that it is unnecessary since you really should be wearing a sunscreen in addition to makeup. The SPF rating is based on an application amount that NOBODY in their right mind would use for makeup (something like 2 mg/cm2??).

I think the owner of Ciele stated that the products arent meant to be used as your main source of protection, and are just supplemental. Why not top of your base layer of protection with more spf? 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t like it because my face and eyes are so sensitive to sunscreens so I need to use specific ones or my eyes burn and I get super dry/break out.

100% agree about the I Need a Nude palette. It is definitely one of my top 5 of all time, if not THE top. I love it so much that I have (virtually) fought people who have said it’s boring or “just like all of her other palettes.”

I’m adding the Shiseido foundation to my list immediately, from what you said it’s the definition of a perfect everyday foundation for me! I already love the Synchro skin radiant. The Ciele tint and blush looks gorgeous as well, but not available where I live. Thanks for a great video with some stellar recommendations! 💕
I didn’t like the Kosas concealer but I LOVE the tower 28, it’s so different in my opinion and better shades than the Kosas
I might check out the Tower 28 next! I actually really like the Kosas formula but can't find a good shade match b/c their range is so yellow.
@@julias5980 I'm sort of in the opposite camp, shade-wise - I like the yellow in the Kosas concealers. I do like the Kosas formula, but I prefer the Tower 28 formula and packaging (and scent). The only thing that makes me hesitate about re-purchasing the Tower 28 is that they don't have a shade that matches me as well as Kosas (so far). I hope Tower 28 comes out with more shades, but glad they're working for others!

@@ainakunigelyte shades are too yellow and too much creasing for me, but didn’t use too much concealer; bear in mind I have a lot of fine lines under my eyes, so if you don’t then you should be ok

I agree with you about mario’s mattes. They were so dry and there was so much kick back. I love ND’s.
I KNEW you'd like the Tower 28 concealer. 😊 Another I don't think you've tested is Tarte's Creaseless Concealer. I think you'd like it too. It's very similar to the T28.
I am SO into my clear RdF thorn gloss and will absolutely repurchase it when I use it up. I didn't pick it up as a treatment product, but hoo boy, it actually cleared up a bout of exfoliative cheilitis when nothing else could. It's a stress-induced condition that causes patches of your lips to peel off every 24 hours and it's basically untreatable, but mine resolved after a few days of using just that gloss in place of lip balm, reapplying every time I noticed it had worn off. Maybe I was just coming to the end of the flare, but I'm pretty sure the product made a difference. And I'm really into the spicy, root-y ginger oil scent. If the black is still in stock the next time they run a sale, I'm totally picking it up.
I agree on your feelings about I need a Nude by ND. I didn't get to pick up the Ethereal Eyes palette and this was giving me similar vibes. So glad I have it. I would have loved another dark brown but I don't miss not having a black- I have enough underutilized black shadows from other palettes that I can dig one up on the rare occasion I need one haha. But those wet shimmers?!? So stunningly beautiful! So glad this was my first ND palette.

The I Need A Nude eye palette is the one everyday palette that lots of people were looking for, including me. I very nearly got the My Dream or Glam palette but am glad that I didn't. It's a bad time for me to purchase I need a nude right now, but when i can save up, I am definitely going for this palette. That's for your seal of approval, Amanda.

Since you love the musky fragrances like glossier you, I would highly recommend Maya fragrances. I have the Base one and it reminds me of You. I’ve worn a lot of fragrances throughout the years, but this one is the only one that I’ve been complimented on by multiple strangers 😂
The Tower 28 concealer looks so beautiful! Out of the shades you've tried which would you say is closest to Kosas shade 01? Face Glaze is so beautiful. I like the D-Bronzi drops too, but they are both different. Face glaze bronze is thicker or I think so, and dries or sinks into my skin better then the D-Bronzi.

I’ve heard a few rave reviews about the tower 28 concealer now and I’d love to hear someone’s opinion on it who also doesn’t like the Kosas concealer. 😂
So many people compare the two and say how great they both are but I really didn’t like the Kosas concealer on me so now I’m wondering if anyone had similar issues with the tower 28. Because the way everyone talks about it, it sounds lovely!

I actually like kosas slightly above the tower 28 both to me I enjoy tower has a little less coverage and creased sooner than kosas..kosas seems.more hydrating

It creased horribly on me and also felt too heavy and drying. Not at all what I thought it would be!
Love both, but ALL 3 Kosas containers cracked, had to be taped & broke again. So, Tower 28 is better for me so far!

I tried the Kosas concealer mainly because of the youtube hype and it made me look so tired, which is one of the main complaints that concealer has. Thankfully, i only bought a mini. I find that serumy formulas are zero long lasting. I just don't see it working for anyone that likes a bit more coverage and a formula that stays in place. Now the Haus Labs seems a lot more promising to me.

Amanda, I am torn between the I Need a Nude and My Dream Palette. I wanna get one of these, but I'm not sure which. I'm a fair, warm tone of skin with green eyes and dark brown hair. Which one would you recommend me, being an everyday makeup-kind of girl?
My dream had more range of depth plus the purples. Depends if you prefer neutrals or warms for everyday
Dream is darker so if you are fair, I would go with INAN

I feel like the ND Glam palette will offer more versatility but I’m so seduced by the formulas in the I Need A Nude palette. Don’t know what to do… We have very similar taste in perfume do now I want to try this
I made it through the initial frenzy without buying INAN - I'm waiting for a good sale later in the year because, while I don't need a warm peach palette, those wet-look shimmers are calling to me.

Its funny cuz I LOVE that the ND palette only has that dark brown and no other dark color! I only use light colors!ni actually HATE when palettes have a black shade because I will not touch it ever! I only use brown's. I love that deep brown as a liber but I only need the 1 because I'll only ever use it as liner I don't do deep deep looks because I'm fair skinned and prefer light looks soooo this palette is my favorite palette ever! It's like she read my mind lol
I completely disagree with you on Mario’s eyeshadow pallete his mattes were special creamy and dreamy! His foundation his blushes the formula is so special! I obviously feel different than you but I still love your videos and value your opinions!!!❤❤❤❤❤

I agree 100% with MBM products. I did not like anything besides his eyeliner & lip pencil.
The blush application seemed really close to the eye. Be careful (as one with sensitive undereyes)!
If you use the Ciele all over your face with spf 50, I don’t understand why you would need a second sunscreen. Does anybody have information on this idea? I’m curious what other people think
They say that to get the full SPF protection, you need to apply 1/4 teaspoon. This is actually quite a lot / likely way too much product to achieve a nice effect. So it’s not sufficient alone as you can’t put enough on.

I love the color story of the ND palette, but they test on animals, so it's a no-go for me.
ND is certified cruelty free.
To be fair, makeup by Mario isn’t that great, it’s subpar for who he is and the talent he has.
