It is a real shame you did not connect this up. I cannot get my display port working with a mac. The mac works fine with the USBC cable plugged into the dock and USB display port into the monitor but NOT with the display port plugged into the monitor. I have seen no one prove this can be done.

Does this work Samsung Dex? I have tried but nothing. I believe this dock works only on Thunderbolt compatible devices?

That second cable looks like it will work in China. I'm getting it and I will use in Hong Kong and China, nice unboxing.
You didn't test having it with a monitor playing video and read/write speeds, maybe even internet at the same time?
