I still dont know to this day why old minecraft before beta 1.8 feels so much more eerie than versions after beta 1.8. My current thoughts are the new brightness slider, the fog being changed, and night being a lot brighter being the things that made the game less creepy
I find it funny how both Beta 1.8 (The Adventure Update) and Release 1.8 (The Combat Update) made masive changes to the game and each still have people who either love or hate aspects of those specific updates above all others. I continue to argue that 1.8 and 1.8 were the most major updates to the game to this day.
What a blast from the past! I never heard this theory but damn what a coincidence! Thinking back on it Herobrine was nothing more than a griefer and a troll haha
this scared the crap out of me as a kid, but my current theory was it was the devs testing early multiplayer stuff (Like how they'd spawn in random player entities in the game)
Interesting stuff. Watching this video brought me back to around the time CaptainSparkelz dropped Revenge. Was reliving a lot of memories of Minecraft while listening to this. Tbh it is a pretty good story and can make some sense if you end up overthinking it and getting wrapped up in the ideas.
I will never get why one day in Minecraft (without mods) herobrine was in one of my darker rooms for a frame. Exactly where he was, lightning struck (even though there was a roof) and a spider, a skeleton, and a zombie appeared. I am still scared to this day of why that happened.
Oh what my feet has blessed me with today Nostalgia. I remember hearing about the stereo a while back too. I forgot who created it though, but it's one of the lesser known theories simply because I have to do with darker tones like murder. I want to see if it's a CZcamsr called Apex or something like that that came up with a theory but I could be wrong. It has been nearly over a decade and I'm an adult now. When I heard it I was a child
Wow. Children can come up with such creative horror stories. This theory sounds scary even now, and I know I would have been utterly terrified if I had heard it ten years ago.

I might need to do a video about why it was so creepy
