seeing all your action figures brought back alot of good memories with me and my bro from our childhood. wrestling back in the days i feel is way better then now days.
Love your Koko B. Ware story! My older brother and I were the same way, lol. I actually remember one time when GI Joe's were in full swing. There were always those select few that we could _never_ find. One of ours was the first Stoem Shadow in his white ninja uniform. So, we went to Kmart one night and we weren't too excited because the week before they didnt have anything special. Only this time they had restocked thr shelves! They had a few we didnt have but not the top 2 Holy Grails that we wanted: the 1st Snake Eyes and that Storm Shadow. My bro got their first and got the only Dusty they had. I was PISSED! I begged him to let me have it, but he wasn't budging. I stormed off and threw a 7 year old fit. About 10 minutes later, Im wandering around the store and see a kid from school with his grandmother. I'm there talking to him for a brief minute and noticed a Storm Shadow in his grandmothers cart! *WHAATTTT!?!?!* I quickly came up with a plot to discreetly follow them around. Finally, he went off somewhere and she was looking at towels. When her back was turned i swiftly grabbed the Storm Shadow and took off, lol. My plan was, if she was to catch me, to say that i was just "looking at it" lol. But i got it. To this day i have no idea if she didn't see me or if she did and didnt notice i took it, or if she just didnt care, lol. But i got it and my brother was jealous! Goal achieved! Screw Dusty! I got Storm Shadow!! After that HE was the one begging ME to trade, hahaha ass hole. Not a chance!
I remember when I was younger for Christmas one year I got a huge box with all these in it I had all of them at least 3 times over as a kid. My fig fed was crazy
My toys r us had them and a local “eckard drug” store. I’d call the stores every other week to check their inventory to see if they got any new ones (I’m sure they loved my calls Haha, I was 11). Typically you’d see the same 1-4 different ones being distributed so you would be limiting to that only. So weird to think about … “internet shopping” wasn’t a concept for another 6 years from then. Great fond memories
@@MatthewMS. ... I absolutely did this too , I can still hear the employees annoyed response to me asking them to check their stock lmao. Most I'm sure never actually looked but every once in a while they'd give ya good news !
I work with Mike Polchipeck (Bart Gunn) at Kennedy Space Center. He's a great guy! I wanted to get one of these to put in the office but they're way too expensive!
Fun video, man. I was a huge WWF fan in this era but I did not have very many of these figures. My best memory of this is the black tux Million Dollar Man... I used him as a villain for Ninja Turtles.
I had probably four or five of these when I first saw this video. Now I’ve got 20. Been slowly buying back my collection from when I was a kid plus some I never knew existed as a kid (Dusty!). Awesome !
Had most of them but my mum dashed them in the trash when we moved house back in the late 90s I'm still gutted to this day about that...them along with my a.team and Ghostbusters figures 😭😫
Ouch that sucks!!! She threw out thousands of dollars worth of toys!! Lol. Don't feel too bad, I willingly gave my little cousin 90% of my childhood toys. MOTU figures and both castles, Ghostbuster figures and the firehouse, Teddy Ruxpin, Grubby, Ljn rubber wrestlers, Hasbro WWF and Galoob WCW figs, and tons of other toys. Luckily I have been able to collect and gain back most of those toys.
Brought back childhood memories! I have all except for Adam Bomb and (I think) Billy Gunn! I remember being so excited finding these and making sure I got every one from the series that I could find! Thanks for sharing.
It took me forever to find the Tatanka and Razor Ramon figures at my local stores when I was a kid in the early-mid 90's, and they were my favorite WWF superstars at the time. Not like today with the availability the internet provides. A fun trip down memory lane, well done!
Man, can't allow myself not to leave a comment here! You have a great collection! Good demonstration and explanation. Just got 7 in my childhood. Hoping that there will be some additionals for my collection. 🙏🙏 just right now. Yesterday, i completed the 7 from diff cabinets.
Thank you so much for this video and showing off each action. Everyone else on YT just talks about the damn toys and never show off the action feature. That being said, the only thing I noticed wrong is that the suplex move that Perfect and Crush is supposed to work by putting a figure in the headlock arm, wind up the left arm and you're suppose to raise the figure while ONLY holding the left arm so that the 2 figures spin together in a "suplex" motion.
I had the whole collection with the WCW figures and ring. I took care of them all for years. My nephew was two years old and I gave him my collection. A week later? They were all broken. LOL
Great video- I watched it all- For the perfect plex type move, the idea was that you wind the arm, place an opponent in the front fact lock, then hold on to the wound arm whilst letting both figures go - this way a suplex move would sort of work
Excellent condition on these figures! I used to collect them as a kid. I had a ton of them. I am considering starting a new collection of them. Probably unopened.
Awesome collection! Mine is growing as well. I know I'll have a fight on my hands with series 11, much like the 1987 Transformers Movie figures-turned-Targetmasters. Again, awesome collection, bro! 👏👏👏😁
i just ordered demolition mask tonight i already had one for crush so far as accessories go all i now need is the 2nd hacksaw jim duggin flag these figures are going up in value fast i still need the smoking gunns and 123 kid to complete my set i have all of the retros nice video
awesome collection bro...i watch videos on this series/style figure about once a year . i still have some of mine...have about 65 that made thru all of these years....I gave so many away over the years too, like an idiot...love this video bc i dont have to watch any of the others
Great video mate, bought back a lot of memories, I don't have a fraction of the amount you have, looking back these figures were (sometimes) lazily made, oversized body parts, lack of articulation (Hogan couldn't do his Leg Drop, Yoko couldn't do Banzai Drop, Macho Man couldn't do the elbow, they should have had articulation of the arms, legs) some of the figures having glued on entrance gear was also a let down, Roddy Piper, The Dragon, the Macho Mans, the Hogans (except the last one), Taker, Bret, Shawn and so on...but I loved these figures and still have all the ones I bought/swapped (except my orange trunked Macho Man's left arm broke off) and they have a great nostalgic value, your collection is amazing
Dusty Rhodes figures are rare for sure. Love the Macho King with scepter & crown as well. Gotta love the Demolition Smash & Crush with the rare helmets. The Razor Ramon figures with gold necklaces & the ultra rare Series 11 figures are fantastic! I used to have the evil Crush & Ludvig Borga figures. I'm kicking myself I sold 'em cheap along with most of my original collection from when I was a kid! (I've since began collecting again though.) Did you ever have any of the real mailaways like the Hulk Hogan in red tights? WWF Hasbros are making a comeback in a big way. Lots of nice finds available on ebay. Awesome collection dude! Happy Holidays.
When I was a kid I got a box of hasbro figures at a garage sale for $2.00. I was spending the night with a friend from school and I had the figures slapping around his sisters barbie dolls. His mom said I was advocating woman beaters by doing that
My favorite Hasbro figure was the 2nd Brutus Beefcake. He was my favorite wrestler back then. I had no idea how rare it was until recently. I remember seeing it right when they were stocking them and grabbing it. I guess i got lucky.
Not a collector myself but I just recently started collecting these figures moc. I'm only after the ones that were released in stores on card, not interested in the mail aways but I am interested in the diff color variants. Just recently got Bret purple heart on card and Shawn Michaels in the black pants and 123 kid in perfect condition all for good prices. If I ever wanted to sell them then I'd deff profit but the collection will go to my kids. After I get all the ones I want on card then I want to start buying the loose figures for in ring displays. All these characters were the spark that ignited my love for pro wrestling. Love the video
I was to old for these when they came out, i was big into the ljn ones when i was a kid..i wish they made these when i was still buying toys there awesome
