#JoeCole #England - Sport
Cole doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves for that masterpiece - sublime goal 👏👏👏
one of the most underrated english goal ever in wc
Probably THE best goal for goals sake. Not the most important but definitely the best goal England have scored at a WC.
@@insertgenericusernamehere2402 it definitely is. But it's a crazy goal. It's one of the best WC goals, any tournament or team. Feathered on the chest and just ripped and lobbed in the top corner at that distance? Beauty
@@ishmaelforester9825 they practice goals like that in training. Called it the lollipop 😂
True, I never see this goal in the millions of best of goals videos on CZcams.
The only things English can celebrate in the world cup 😂
I remeber being 21 and moving to Dublin from New Zealand. I'd never liked football because it was not the sport we played as kids. My Second day in town and the world cup was all the rage. Went to a pub watched this game and remember being in absolute awe of this goal. Made me love the world's game from then on.
Joe Cole... true English baller. He caught lightning in a bottle for a few years. Wish it had last longer.
Agree
People don't understand the amount of technical ability it takes to score a goal like that .the hours Joe spent on the parks football pitches practicing this type of volley all those training sessions led to this moment in a England shirt .
😂😂 what a load of BS
that is a fact, it is incredibly difficult to score a goal like that
@@joaosas try playing football
What a fantastic goal, this generation of the English team could have done something
But they choked as usual
Should have done something another manager may have done better
Too much technicality and not enough physical, natural talent. England at that time were completely stocked with world class players who could strike and pass a ball anywhere but lacked proper speedsters or dribblers of the ball. The starting team also consisted of players who were all rivals against each other back in league games during what was the premier leagues roughest and most competitive era
@@ethannodder8923 they also lacked a holding midfielder in order to compliment gerrard and lampard , if carrick was put as a dm while stevie and lampard were free to do what they could who knows maybe england couldve won smthg
@@dewanshparashar5523 they didnt choke they always had bad leadership. Sven was ok. Capello was awful. Tactically Capello was better then Sven, but Capello and Sven honestly had no idea how to fully utilize our midfield. Also many players from this generation said tactics compared to today was just awful.
Joe recently said on the Peter crouch podcast that he only took the shot because he was shattered, saying usually he would never attempt such a shot.
He was being humble. He knew exactly what he was doing. Pure instinct. Great goal
haha its weird how some of the greatest goals were not entirely deliberate... rooney's famous goal vs newcastle, he said he was angry at the time and struck the ball out of pure anger rather than anything else :P
Imagine if England could produce world-class managers how better being English would be.😂
the crouch and cole ladbible debate bought me here xD
My favorite goal of all time.
Same
Mine too..
It seems you have seen very little of football!
@critical_analysis no buddy. Not every goal has to be a favorite for skill.. and even if it was, this would be up there
I swear this is the best goal I ever seen in my life I was 12 years at that time
I was 11 when he did this, me and my dad couldn't believe it, what a goal :)
You and your dad couldn't believe that you were eleven? Sounds a bit odd.
@@Dionysos640 can you not read properly or something?
@@Dionysos640Have you planned a trip to the mental hospital yet
He came when there was an influx of probs Englands best generation of midfielders. That and his injuries. He was unfortunate.
And to think this goal lost out from 'goal of the tournament' to an Argentina goal simply because Argentina passed like 20 times before scoring.
As a neutral, Argentina’s goal was better. The fact you only see it as just “passing” is also very English 😂
@@abdullah087 I mean it literally was just passing.
He chested the ball off and scored. It didn't even touch the ground and it was outside the penalty area. Impressive 👍
*From iraq with love 👏🇮🇶😍*
That was no doubt, the best goal England scored in 2006.
The only player from England I loved watching. Was a huge fan. Saw his first appearance ever in Westham vs Swansea back in 1999!
Absolute beauty!
💙👌
Crazy goal
This is truly one of the best goals in world cup 🏆
superlative, a paroxysm of pride and joy to attack a ball so sweetly, on the greatest stage. one's heart to swell with emotion to produce such a contact at such a moment of time and place.
magnificent 👏
هدف اسطوري🔥
That is an incredible goal!
Only if Puskas Award existed back then 👏
tony yeboah would've swept up in 94-95
fantastic ❤️❤️
What a player he was, seemed to get injured when he was on a run of great form.
Remember watching this go in in a packed pub with my best mate. Absolutely INSANE. Place went mental.
That hair cut reminds of Superdry Osaka t-shirts
I can exactly 👍 remember it!! It was the greatest World 🌍 Cup goal 🥅 that I had ever seen in my life!! It stays in my mind!!! 💙💙💙⚽️⚽️⚽️🏴🏴🏴
The commentary is woeful
Forgotten about this goal.
This should be played more on tv.
Who’s here from listening to the Peter Crouch podcast and wanted to remind themselves of this goal 👀
You got me.
Wow that commentator couldnt hold in his excitement, he went absolutely ballistic
That England kit was so nice.
The best goal I have ever seen In world cup 😮
The defn of stand and deliver!
If Ronaldinho scored that goal, people would still be talking about it today.

One of the best EVER goals to grace a World Cup Finals Tournament. We should have beaten Portugal that year.
You can't be serious?! 😂😂😂 This wouldn't even had made a top 100 World Cup goals list!
@@callme_Sweetpea Derrrr, no, not serious, just saying it for the sheer f*ck of it. 🔔🔚 🤡

The best goal in the world cup 2006 by far, and possibly one of the best goals ever, and I'm Italian
Here from LADbible TV! What a goal man, Joe Cole and Peter Couch are top blokes!!
Goal of the tournament
And on that day, the Swedish player, Marcus Allback, scored the 2,000th goal in FIFA World Cup history.
I had a wager on the first goal of the match to be scored from outside of the box. I was chuffed on both counts!
Beautiful
What a pretty goal.
You could say "the perfect goal!"
Oh yeah❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Here after listening to him on That Peter Crouch Podcast. Pass the Pod!
Probably the great England goal ever scored
Underrated goal.
Proper Chelsea legend ❤️

Top draw as they say!
I was 10 and at my nans watching this, my nan hates football but when she heard me screaming and running around the room she knew something special had happened, she came in and saw it and said that's the best goal she had ever seen.
One of England's best ever goals that it's up there with Gascoigne's
But what about crouch with the assist? Everyone forgets that.
Wow!
Back stronger
I met joe cole and his kids yesterday
World cup 2006 ,two goals twins, this goal and goal Maximiliano Rodriguez in the mach Argentine vs México , amazing goals!
it's funny because liverpool bought both of those players in 2010 :P
Nunca me esqueci desse gol e nem do nome do jogador.
Qual jogador?

Golden generation? Nah, they were boring to watch. Except Joe Cole. He was a baller.
Pov: t la de les twins

This goal or saka goal.
was this the tournament they won?
It's one of the times it came home I think
When we was actually world class almost 😂
You must be joking we were terrible at this point 😂
We are world class now - at least on paper. Probably have the best team in the world right now, deffo top 3, but on the day we bottle it. Why? Poor managers have been the biggest culprits we’ve faced over the years. With the team at Southgate’s disposal he should be winning the WC. We’ve always had class players but never the tactics or the drive to win
Who's here from the pod?
I love 2000-2008 soccer. Pure technique, no diving
Soccer? No diving between 2000 and 2008? Are you 13?
