It's the Eclipse, obviously it's the best, it has the power of Paul Walker enchanting it.
Also, beautiful drifts at high speeds with certain tuning. Those shallow drifts cannot be beaten imo

Got a tip for you, Theo.
If you want a Carbon hood, paint the entire car Carbon using the paint options, and then cover everything except the hood in whatever colour you want.
For me, Elite clutch is a must-have in lower classes. It improves the acceleration so much is just too good
That's the first upgrade I go to when I build a car, it definitely helps

I've done an A+ build but with stock turbo (keeps the dump valve sound), can almost max out everything else, other than the ECU I think, don't fit grip or road tyres, just the standard upgraded ones, and set the slider to around 20% drift, up there with the r34 then

I put my Eclipse in A+, I use the base engine with a Grip build, it is fairly competent but sometimes I just get absolutely wrecked. I wanted to see in Singleplayer if the Wankel engine is any better, but I had no luck getting the same event multiple times to get a benchmark for both engines
I demolish A+ races in the eclipse with a grip build. especially if you take good corners to get some boost, i gap them. Now if you’re making mistakes ehhhh hit that restart lol
From my experience, the ideal top speed for A class is around 160
The lower gearbox reduce the rating so you can put more parts to maximize the acceleration
I'm 41, I actually owned a 98 gsx eclipse before the movie came out. I was beyond happy when I saw it in the movie as the main car. The GSx was pretty much a evo. That's Kool that you brought it back up to relevance. ✊.
The eclipse was only ever produced for the North American market there for the reason why they’re all left hand drive, but I’ve seen a few converted to right hand drive which is a massive ball ache to do.
The closest thing to the Eclipse in the EU would've been the FTO. It is a DSM coupe, sharing the platform with the Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser (1st gen Eclipse).
Also for the Eclipse two generations later the Peugeot RCZ looks like it. I think it looks great.

It's a cool feeling when you import a vehicle your country never got as production. Canada is similar to the U.S for import laws and models of cars we also didn't get. With the exception of Quebec, they get some euro spec vehicles not imported and it tripped me out.

I have just been upgrading my eclipse to each new class and so far it has been working for me. I plan on getting mine into S before having to swap the engine

My first car was a 99 gsx eclipse just like the one you are upgrading. I loved that car.
I have mine is S.
At first she slow but after a while in long road races she smokes the competition with a wow factor of 234mph and 3.4 from 0 to 60. The handling at times sucks sometimes but if you can tame her then she is certainly something (and at a cheep price). When I get a chance to do an S+ variant I’ll definitely give it a shot
Make sure you check your real cars radiator fluid. People in Florida tend to use just water as a coolant. My buddy bought one from Florida and it got destroyed because the engine block froze.

It’s perfect in A honestly . But I swap between the Eclipse and the EVO for the uphill/downhill events with a drift setup and both hold their own at A+.
A+ full grip tune with a stock engine.
This is one of the only cars that actually keeps up with the regara and bugatti in S+...
I m using the eclipse in A class since few weeks ,full grip build and i usually win with it thanks to its okay-ish handling and very high top speed for A class my stats:100%grip,topspeed170mph, 1/4miles in 12.4 ,0-60mph in 4 sec
Theo the Best black paint is going into the pro, section and make the material chrome and then make the glossiness matte and it looks noice
Hey bro a cheese way to get more power into a lower class is to throw on offroad suspension and if u rlly want to go lower then tires as well. U can makes the horsepower and torque higher this way so that u have more power at the high end speeds. Its a trade off for low speed acceleration (like from 0-30 mph its not bad at all)but if u are driving well that only matters at the very start.
The eclipse makes the BEST A class and A+ Class. All that changes are small engine upgrades and handling upgrades. Upgraded basic tires. Go more grip on the tuning and this thing is unbeatable
When it comes to making cars black I always go with the chrome/satin black option. It looks like it's painted and it's a darker black. At least that's how it is in heat (I don't have unbound).
Same in this, make it black chrome, set the gloss level to satin.

Eclipse belongs in A. Sport induction with the super roots supercharger. Grip build with stock engine. It dominates
the eclipse is masterful in A+ it can hold its own in a class too
Love Eclipses man, it's my daily driver. Reliable fuel sippers that are fun to drive.
The big single turbo may help the top end 130mph+
If I ever get an eclipse that pretty close to what I would do, the eclipse is a dream car I’d love to have one day.

What I am missing are some small and medium sized rear wings for my RX-7 and RX-8. They both are awesome in A+, but the RX-8 in S class so far is aweful. Handles like poop because it starts sliding and "wiggling" it's rear all the time. 😂

Here in Romania are 2 eclipse one from 1999 and one from 2007 i think? Or 2006 and the owners are from Iasi, the city who have the borders with Moldova and I’m from Romania Iasi so I saw both car =)

Mine is in A tier, RB swapped and it's pretty good. Had it at A tier since the game released. I really like the car
Try tuning for quicknes and handel insted for top speed.
i ran eclipse through the entire story just about and i can say if you max upgrade it in S+ i had that bad boy hitting 235 top and it was very stable and had killer acceleration. Only people that gave me problems was Cheat-$AP Rocky cause he just cheats and shizmazu cause for some reason that boy was just good and if you didnt forceably keep him from getting out front first cause he would just fly like other cars didnt exist lol
You need to use chrome with black so it turns darker
There's plenty eclipses in europe, just not right hand drive. A very good replacement would be the FTO, wish that was in the game.
I put my eclipse in S Class and it weren’t too bad tbh but eventually started using the GT-R for my S+ because it handled better and it’s my favourite car so why not 😂

I love my eclipse, I have 2 lol. One is in a+, one is in s+ lol. Both are awesome
In story mode I feel A+ was best for it as I did push it into S class but it was struggling against the AI. Might be different for online but I'd imagine A+ is the right class for it.

Should definitely give the ford GT a go in S class it’s MASSIVELY underrated. I drive it all the time. That thing along with the aventador Roadster (not svj) absolutely dominate corner races and some top speed ones too.
I hope they add mantis kit for eclipse so you could make Melissa's eclipse.

It's different than what I used, a VW Beetle with the alchemist body kit and whatever else.

It does make sense your top speed drops, the the more downforce you put, the less slippery it is to get more speed. Why do you think the fastest cars dont have massive wings and such for downforce, and active spoilers detract when getting to speed
