This level looks amazing! I can't get over how beautiful it looks!
This is really nostalgic for me even tho i never made it out of the jungle as a kid lmao maybe it's time to replay and beat the game

I definitely enjoyed this playthrough of the jungle. And I learn something new, one of the secrets or pickups is a shotgun. And also the lever that triggers the wall with spikes to move I would have never thought to simply pull the lever roll and jump back over to that ledge. Thank you for your walkthrough I not only relive The Nostalgia of playing this again during my high school years but now I know new things for when I get the remaster... thank you for this. ❤❤
A truly wonderful game. Very tough but very well put together. I love having to think your way through this game. Some of the best music I've heard. Yes this is Tomb Raider at its best. Steve 👍

22:23 The Infada Key is supposed to be right in front of Lara. I wonder why they moved it away in the remastered version. It makes picking it up without killing the monkey impossible, I guess? (I tried and failed multiple times)
I can confirm this. Even Tried the modern controls because she turns faster that way. Even with with perfect timing i didnt get the key. I wonder why they did that
@@alsuna781 My previous comment got deleted probably because there was a link to Stella's website. I was able to get the key without killing the monkey using this method: When you get the 3rd secret, use the shortcut (mentioned in Stella's website) that takes you to the end of the level. Go get the key (the monkey doesn't show up), go back (a tiger will appear) and jump to the platform right beside the quicksand. When you reach the end, you can use the corner bug to jump to the platform above and continue the level normally as if nothing happened :)
I wish they'd removed the diamonds, but I'm glad that she can crouch roll and dismount from a crounching space from the front.
I think they kept the crystals to win some trophy and at the same time not forget something so significant (whether good or bad) in this game (Google Translate).
Best looking remaster imo

They have to fix the Tony's head shake, it was good in the original, but now, with facial animations looks bad.
And his hands, when he grab objects, or his own head. Lara just need to have her hands fixed when she put them on her waist, and with her arms folded.
I like his head bobble is still there. Makes him look even more unhinged than before.

Finally someone who talked about this... it is sssssssso bad honestly.. But i am optimist, because if u compare with the old version, Lara in the remastered dont shake ger head... so i believe that this will be patched... what do you think? i dont think it needs a LOT of work on it

I heard there was a unlimited saves system that's naturally in the game but do you know which TR games for the remaster those are on? I hope there is one so it can make it more convenient when I do my speed run trophy😛
I miss the times when I could simply download a demo of the Tomb Raider game before each release. Not that I didn't purchase the Remastered version already some time ago, but just to have a better time waiting for the release. Now with the release due for everyone a demo doesn't make sense anymore imo.

So what are the diamonds now since they aren’t save crystals anymore?
i don’t know about the remaster but when TRIII came out for the pc the crystals gave you health. Albeit those were green and these are still blue like PS1’s save crystals…
They're collectible crystals now.

They are just collectibles. If you go up in the menu, you can See how many you have picked up. But if you play New game+ then These crystals become once again save crystals

Does the game tell you about these new moves? they are nice additions.
Fortunately they added the TR4 and TR5 special moves to the first few games; Since I was a child I always wanted to see this and today with the remastered game my wish was fulfilled (Google Translate).

Textures look like an AI watercolor painting and look kinda blurred, the foliage looks like the ones in legend wtf and what's with the silent hill fog? The lara model looks great though. Are they seriously charging money for this xd

this level looks exactly same as original from 1999. Textures are dark, diry and ugly. I don't get it. TR1 & 2 remastered looks better.

The difference is massive, just switch back and forth between the two.
This level in particular looks gorgeous with the new lighting based on the PS1 version.
Hmmmm, I think it's technology has moved on so much the diffs are harder to notice but oh yes signifiantly, esp for the hardcore fans...can't wait to dive in again!
