Great upload mate 🔥🐠. My mind is opening up to the universe of American cichlids and in particular central/vieja species 🎉.
I’m from Australia and you guys from the states are seriously lucky and privileged to have access to a lot of these species.
Yes Australia has many challenges we do not see here in North America.
I’m from Canada
Awesome stuff, I had the pleasure of getting some of those redundant pairs from Dan.
Very cool! Top quality fish always. Thanks for watching
actually thinking about buying some rio hondo carpintis from him this week
Awesome video! Lots of lovely looking cichlids in this video. I really liked the xanthic form of the Jaguar cichlids. Hopefully those will be more available in the future.
A video
Specifically talking about them is coming
I got some fish from him and they're great. Red Tiger moto and Trimac I got are beautiful!
Outstanding
Awesome!!
Thank you! Cheers!
That’s so cool. 👍

I need to setup a cichlid tank at some point! Have a pair of Angelfish, but would be cool to get into some other varieties too! Thanks for sharing this Chris!
Thanks for watching my friend, hopefully seeing these gorgeous adult New World cichlids provides you with some inspiration
Thanks Biggs. Hey Dan!
Thanks John
There must be at least another 99 parts to this tour, lol. Hoping, my channel will be up and running again, mid to late in the year. Keep em coming my Brother. By the way, was that glare, in some of those tanks caused by a Canadian in shorts? Te he he
Miss you brother, yes tons of footage still, some species profiles etc…. Hope you are doing well.

Bravo from Romania
Thank you
Привет хорошая у вас рыба!!

@@themadaquarist can't wait
GAME ON!
Did you compose the music, Chris?
lol sadly no, not in my limited skill set
Are those platinum jaguar cichlids? Holy sheesh. I’m extremely curious about those
These would be a natural occurring Xanthic morph we have a Species profile coming on them soon
Awesome video! I want to buy from him, I live 20 minutes away and he still requires me to ship haha I can’t local pick up :(
Yes their facility is not open to the public as it’s at their home
@@themadaquarist he has all of Max’s fish, he had some gems
It’s like being in a candy store!
Oh very much so
Did you change cameras? Last video of the Cichlids of hte Americas, some of the same fish were more colorful, like the Chaco Max.
Yes but that’s not really the reason were a couple
Months before breeding season when they really ramp up.
amazing video. the altifrons was so gorgeous i ordered a group lol. can’t find any real solid info on them online as far as diet and size. would you happen to know what they eat and how big they get??
Thank you very much. Amazing fish albeit very very slow growing. Good clean water with lots of water changes. They are an obligate sand sifting omnivore spa varied low fat diet will be ideal. Let them
Sift through the sand . They are a smaller species reaching a maximum of about 9”
does he sale to the public? was trying to find his website
Yes he does. Ships all over the world.

Hello, what type of amphilophus species was that in the beginning of the video. 3 second to 7 second time frame
A. Flaveolus
What is a good commercial food for Central America cichlids?
Not an easy question to answer as not on food would meet the needs of the vast diversity of Central American species. Variety would be key, low fat foods.
This may offer some guidance on selecting foods for your cichlids. This was filmed years ago with Dan. Perhaps not the best video but the content is solid.
