Oh, baby please now
La la la la la la la la la means

#TheDelfonics #LaLaMeansILoveYou #PIR - Hudba
In the Delfonics' Unsung episode, the writer said that his infant son couldn't say ' I love you' but would say 'la la la' instead & that's where he got the inspiration for the title. It's so sweet when you find out stories behind the music. ❤

Rip William Poogie Hart January 17,1945- July 14,2022 thanks for the love you gave
Many guys have come to you
With a line that wasn't true
And you passed them by
(Passed them by)
So you're in the center ring
And their lines don't mean a thing
Why don't you let me try
(Let me try)
Now I don't wear a diamond ring
I don't even have a song to sing
All I know is
La la la la la la la la la means
I love you
Oh, baby please now
La la la la la la la la la means
I love you
If I ever saw a girl
That I needed in this world
You are the one for me
(One for me)
Let me hold me in my arms
And thrill you with my charms
I'm sure you will see
(You will see)
The things I am sayin' are true
And the way I explain them to you
Listen to me
La la la la la la la la la means
I love you
Oh, baby baby
La la la la la la la la la means
I love you
The things I am sayin' are true
And the way I explain them to you, yes to you
Listen to me
La la la la la la la la la means
I love you
You know, you'll have to understand now
La la la la la la la la la means
I love you
Come on and take my hand
Ok
Thanks
One of my favorite songs from The Delfonics.
The Delfonics❤🌹❤ A group who were/are a staple especially in the Black community, for their silky smooth, romantic/swoon renditions. This Classic 🌹" La La Means I Love You" will forever hold a special place in the hearts of many who appreciate the beautiful sound of Old Skool music... They were/are Top Tier artists .. and relevant still in 2024.
Oh man, this was another classic.

WOW!! That's waaaay cool!
I'm 25 and I grew up listening to a TON of music from the 60's 70's and 80's. My folks had good taste in music lol
How can a twenty young years old feel such chills for these times of jam? Becuz she knows good music 🎶. Food to my soul 🥺
Because music from the past I'd better than the junk today.
Love when Nicholas Cage sang this to his movie wife Téa Leoni. He actually can sing loves opera. La-La-La-La-La-La-La-La-La Means I Love You

My favorite slow jam group of all time
As a radio geek since the age of 6 I appreciate ALL kinds of music! I like this and the Jackson 5's version; copyright 1969!!!
The "Sound of Philly" need I say more. Amazing harmonies to go along with the talented producers/song writers. Then you had the strings, horns and other instruments to take it to the next level!!
It nation wide but I guess
@@franciscojimenez4974 No, it really was a Philly thing--one of the last regional soul sounds to emerge. No different than the Motown sound, Memphis / Muscle Shoals sound, or the New Orleans R&B sound.
The records these places produced were loved by all of America, but they were created by small teams of geniuses in "flyover" cities. I wish we still had regional soul scenes producing timeless music.
Nuff said!!! Philly/Motown.
These are the voices of angels ❤️👍
Brings back happy memories
R.i.p, may the delfonics rest easy 🙏🏻💔🕊
