Wow! I am in shock at the way you spoke to Rick. Rick is way too kind, thoughtful, attentive, and gentle. It was as if you were discounting his work, his past or things that mean something to him. That was just sad!
Okay it’s not just me. Kelly was so toned deaf to Rick’s feelings. You can tell he was hurt. He works so hard for you guys and always has nothing but compliments for you and Jolie and your mom. I felt so bad for him.

Same here, Kelly i love you, but calm yourself down. I'm actually fighting with my husband right now. Both my parents have passed away. I had one little box of some of my mom's things and a few wood items my dad made for me. I was saving for my grandkids. He just through them away, like they were nothing. He's like you don't need that stuff, it was sentimental to me. Let Rick keep what he wants , wow.

Now we know Kelly is miserable when she’s not drinking. That’s a sign of a real problem. Normal people have files and paperwork to go through and shred. It’s not weird. I've had my personal info stolen (along with other students) at a university, and it was a nightmare.
I found out by accident that my info was compromised because the cell phone company got suspicious after the 12th cell phone was ordered within a couple of days and so fraud protection decided to call the number on the application. The thieves used my cell phone #, my name, SS#, and their own home address to receive the item.
I did my own detective work, and after weeks of phone calls, I found out it was the janitor steeling students' info. I called the police and they said it's not their issue. I called the university, and they asked me not to say anything and that they were aware (they didn't tell me my info was stolen). I called the FBI and got them involved. I'm telling you, it's a nightmare, especially if you have a busy life and don't have time to deal with the headache.
If I didn't catch it when I did, it could have been worse.
With all your properties, you and Rick own, the titles on your homes could get compromised as well as your credit score. And by the way, these thieves rarely ever get prosecuted and thrown in jail.
Good golly! Of course Kelly seemed grumpy but they just got back from a working holiday! In addition, the couple is moving… again! Twas only a year ago they moved from their other home. I found 20,000 in a brown paper bag at my place of work. I worked at a grocery store in the meat department. The bag was laying on some meat packages. I turned it into my manager. Turns out a woman with dementia had left it. Her family retraced her steps. she had gone to the bank and pulled it out. Story hit local news. I would never feel comfortable keeping something that didn't belong to me.
My godmother with dementia had $100k disappear…in spite of me always pulling bags of cash out of her trash 🙄bless you for turning it in

I've been watching your show for a long time now, but this is my first time to comment. We found large amounts of money twice at Costco. The first time was in an envelope in the parking lot. We turned it into the managers desk, and they told us to come back in a few weeks to see if anyone had claimed it. We checked back and no one had claimed it so they gave it to us. The second time was a wad of money on the floor near the prepared foods. We did the same thing and no one claimed it so we got that money as well. Thanks for your show; I really enjoy it!!!!

Hey Guys! Wanted to share that we are the same way. I’m a thrower awayer too. We spent every weekend in January purging. Every cabinet and closet that resulted in mass donation to Goodwill. The big task was the office organizing and it involved so much sorting and shredding. We now have a digital system so no more stacks and stacks. Things get saved digitally as they come in. It wasn’t exactly a fun January but so worth it to get the entire house organized.
Sorry Kelly I take Rick's side on this one😂 I am very sentimental. And 9/11 rocked my world so I would keep the phone too. I still have 3 of my first cell phones so I can show my great grandbabies one day what cell phones first looked like. But I'm not a hoarder. I do purge at times but am very sentimental.

I love my GDefy shoes. Got them about a month ago. I have some neuropathy in my feet from my chemo treatments, they make it so much easier to walk around through out my day. Love the shoe inserts included.
Getting off the sauce is no joke… Rick my husband shredded years of paperwork before a move, that is a rough, huge time consuming task… the shredder would overheat and the cleanup, oh vey… he did it in the garage as well.
Hey Rick….at least they sent rejection letters. These days you get crickets. When you apply for a job nowadays….its nothing!! I’m lucky to get a form letter rejection after an interview. Those are rare as well. No personal touch anymore. I am a bit sentimental too. It’s quite wonderful to find some little treasure from the past that is meaningful. It makes those memories real again❤
Be grateful that Rick is doing these things for extra precaution...but I get it. My hubby holds on WAY too much, too.

If that’s his biggest “issue”, girl you’re ahead of most 🤣😂 Rick, they have big shredder trucks that you can pay to come to your house and you can watch them shred everything at once. It’s awesome! My mom had 6 kids and with each kid she had, their teeth are worse. The oldest kid has had no teeth issues, I’m the 5th and my teeth are like Kelly’s. The youngest has even worse teeth then me. It’s like she was running out of baby making ingredients with each additional kid🤣 Love you guys keeping it real ❤

Thanks for putting out content, editing and all the work we don’t see- especially coming back from a fast paced working ‘vacation’ and stressful move..which is absolutely hideous. It’s so true that is expensive to remove that jail in the Technical College. When we bought a former bank building to build our new Funeral Home, there was the original bank vault in there and it cost us $35,000 to have it removed. Crazy expensive! And no.. the bank did not leave any goodies.
Also: depending on you how much you have to shred, there are shredding trucks that can come to you. Shred on site in front of you.

I’m so sentimental, I’ve kept most of my kids stuff, and they are in there 40s now lol but you know, drawings they did when they were little, toys, art projects they did. I have things from my grandparents, and my mom. But I do wish I could purge more, I have clothes from my 30s, and I’m in my 60s now lol
I keep Jolies things but o don’t keep all my trophy’s when I was a kid and from my 20 30 40
My mom used to keep our things from our youth. They divorced. When I had the opportunity to get the trunk, my step mom said she threw everything out. It has been 40 years ago and it still irks me.
I’ve thrown away many trophy’s in past & taken lots of other things to goodwill or trash recently & continuing since we renovated upstairs & don’t plan on moving & don’t want to burden my kids with that. It feels so good. Before I throw away I ask kids if they want if theirs or things in general. The sentimental stuff I keep with them in mind.
