I love that the UK has all these smaller old car brands and brand that attempt to bring back the old brands/designs like David Brown, Caterham, Atalanta, Lister, Nobel, Bowler, Ginetta, TVR, Morgan, Etc.... The car culture there is so much more rich than here in the US.

Another revived British manufacturer is Bristol. Bristol has just been taken over by an Englishman who is a Bristol enthusiast and property developer. They are relaunching 2 re-engineering models next year, 2020.

To be totally honest without been bias in any way the coach build of a high quality English car cannot be bettered in any country on earth sadly quality this good cost money n its out of reach for most of us, mechanically may not be the most modern but with coach build quality this good who cares anyway, when you close the door n it closes to perfection after years of use this Is real quality we all love n admire

All Austin car designs maintained the recognisable Austin shape of the time, carried over from the very successful Austin 1100 and 1300s range. In fact all manufacturers do the same.
The Marina was a Morris car and therefore followed the Morris company ethos and was a more conventional design.
The Maxi also had to use the same doors as the 1800 range, which added to its similarity in looks. But underneath that skin was a very advanced design, in fact Issigonis last design. Which carried on his original much praised and copied mini car concept, but much larger. Though Austin's Maxi, in essence a much improved larger version of the mini, is nowhere as large as the new German 'mini's'.
