if theres a team in png there will be a tsunami of talent wanting to play nrl and get pumped eveyr week. but after a few years, those fellas will be experienced first graders. papuans are built for this game
Injuries suck BUT it makes origin interesting knowing new players are coming in. You don’t what’s going to happen and gives new players opportunity to step up to that next level. Exciting times.
Yes
I agree that, as a PNG citizen, we are not ready for a professional team.
Obviously, there are many things to consider.
However, it was the Australian governments interest to offer us an opportunity to try an NRL team.
We PNG never asked to have a team.
As for the $ 600 million, PNG never asked for financial assistance. This information about the $600 million is not confirmed according to the PNG government.
PNG PM claimed that we want to follow the protocal of the NRL Bid & be competitive.
According to PNG PM, we dont expect the Australian government & the people to assist financially.
In terms of security, if BID is successful, people love & respect NRL players.
They will be well respected & as they live longer, people will protect them. There is no need for security.
Their thoughts will change.
Please understand the issue.
Thanks 😊 🇵🇬
PNG? Real security issues
Add another $600m😅
PNG based in Cairns is the ironic part 😂
As long as travelling footballers keep it in their pants and keep their mouth shut should be all good.
I worked and lived in Madang for a year when I was around a footballers age. You are a Island on a Island. I was lucky to be accepted by all that I meet, but not all Expats have treated the locals well. Incidents can easily flare up into full blown riots. It's basic warfare with machet, bows n arrows. Medical treatment is scarce and your not going to be eating Macas anytime soon. Think Glam Camping in a Jungle. I loved it, but it's not Byron Bay or Cairns. For a football player at the back end, it would be all about the Kina. $$$
As a hearty Queenslander i really would like seeing Nicho play good for NSW, well see if hes built for it come Wednesday
Use are going down
@@terryhillbilly I'll come back to this comment after the game and either congratulate you or tell yous went down
@@churbrada10 the ref will be on your side just like the last 3 years pal
@@churbrada10 it must feel good when you have the ref on your side pal
Im from PNG....We are not ready to join the NRL...pathways is a better approach
Geopolitics and anti-China sentiment should not be the starting point for any sporting team period.
Nothing the Fk wit in charge (V'landys) has done has been better for the game, all he has done is negotiate a good tv deal
Blues this blues that. Everything is about The blues every year on every show 👎🏾 and yet they still lose haha how boring
Where in nsw dereck
Nicho is going to flop. Not made for big games
Says some flop in a CZcams comment section 😂🫡
@@dbo4506u stick to ur running on sand poo jabber.. nicho definitely gonna buckle and crumble under the pressure
@@kuzzo9438 doesn't matter you have to blame Edwards like they blame Teddy for NSW sucking, even though he is the only consistently good player NSW have
Well Moses is back and had a banger so game 2 is a possibility to have a decent7
Time will tell sport 😮
If the govt has $600m to invest in RL, spend it in the USA. PNG is a 3rd world country. Having an NRL team in PNG isn't gonna change China's foreign policy. Plus there's a federal election next year so how solid is the money if Albo loses?
America 😂
America do not give a Fk about anything non American nothing has ever been successful there, they are pig headed and just don't care
There are no security issues in png. Just love for the greatest game.
If Albanese loses the deal deal because China may be more than interested in taking it on.
If Albanese loses the election, the incoming government will not drop the deal as China wud be more than interested in taking it on.
Quit all the negativity. Just like every new endeavor 23:25 expect teething issues.
They should put another team in nz.
The PNG expansion is disgustting. $600m going into rugby league when we have a nationwide housing and cost of living crisis.
