I feel like some top chinese players have a grudge against QianTianyi but didn't know Sun yingsha also wanted to destroy her, she easily could save energy for the SF but wanted to send a message to Qian here.

Qian had a good record against Sun when they were juniors. Now you can see her lack of power (Sun's 'flying' backhand block was often all she needed), and the gulf between them.

Qian knows that she has no possibility of winning. She played this game just like an exercise with no desire to win.

Now the top three females are all quite healthy, fighting for backup position for Paris Group position has no meaning, so she may not want to go to Paris as an escort, which requires a lot of training for next couple months, simply wasting time and embarrassing.
