I remember early 2020 pandemic ruud, ruusevoori, alcaraz, harris, musetti, and sonegro were all battling for better placement in opening tournaments. Sonegro showed some flair, was waiting on Harris to jump up, cited musetti to be the next federer, ruusevoori kind of faded away for some reason, whereas Ruud and Alcaraz jumped right up. Ruud kept pushing and Alcaraz took some beatdowns but gutted his way to top 10 with him.
