TSL on the Road: Papadakis & Cizeron

- Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron exploded on the skating season during the 2014-15 competitive season, winning both the World and European Figure Skating Championships. A year later, the team defended their titles and expanded their lead over the ice dance elite. This season, the duo will face new challengers in the form of Olympic Champions Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, a team they happen to share the ice with every day. I caught up with the two-time World and European Champions during my trip to Montreal on September 7-8, 2016.

They are just so... French. Haha. Gotta love 'em.
Between now and February I plan to watch as many interviews as I can find with these two. They seem like such nice people, and I think the more I grow to like them, the less upset I'll be when they (probably) take olympic gold ahead of Tessa & Scott. Maybe. ;)
Lol, tough interview Dave. You didn't really manage to make them talk ;), the shows are not designed the same way in France or in USA. You take your time, you make your host feel good, then you go smoothly, then you asked about more complex subject.
They didn't really seem to be ready to talk about their program so soon anyway.
But thanks for the view on their program at practice, it's interesting to see what they change and how they progressed in 2-3 months.

Well, the interviewer is on the opposite end to be the best in the world.
by far the worst! a journalist must make the interviewee comfortable, which is not the case
Il vous faut absolument 3 portés flamboyants cela manque trop dans
votre programme. il est trop pauvre en portés. les portés doivent avoir
au moins 3 changements de positions. regardez le programme de virtue
moir il y a beaucoup de puissance et cela manque dans votre narration
pourtant forte. et attention garder vos positions lors des twizel. Donc
chers francais ATTENTION si vous esperez gagner la medaille
olympique devant moir virtue ou capelini lanotte. il vous faut trois
portés epoustouflants et donnez du boos intérieur à votreprogramme;.
apprenez de marina zueva soit virtue moir ou davis white.

flamboyant lift in this programme. in the 3 lifts one must start down
and finish with an up lifted leg of gabriella, another should contain 4
postitions changing. it should be veryfast. look at virtue and moir you
need to have more complicated fast lift Marina zueva and igor schpilband
are the right coaches. look observes learn and do .if you want to win any olympic medal you need to have 3 flamboyant lifts in

We see now they always have been themselves, they had already found themselves. They brought such art , they just took us in their world, and captured our heart .No team did This before ,ever. They actually would have won the 18 Olympics if there hadn't have been this awfull costume issue, but won the FD, as always when they were there since 15..they made ice dance as wonderful as the other catégories of figure skating. On ice they are The masters, no matter what what the music is, what they whant to make us feel. It's works of art
Geez that was a hard interview to watch. They're not very personable. Almost like they think their crap doesn't stink.
Juve N : L'interview a duré peu de temps. Qu'ont ils fait ou dit de tellement déplaisant à ce point que vous jugez nécessaire d'être si grossier ? Je pense que vous êtes bien plus vulgaire que ce couple.
