People can suffer from both phobias, so someone who fears children (pedophobia) may also fear the childlike features of dolls (pediophobia), and someone with pediophobia may also have pedophobia.

I have this phobia and it's more about being scared of human dolls. This game is still scary to me but it would be way more fitting and scary if it was a porcelain doll chasing after you.

I actually had one moment of a minor form of pediophobia in my life, and I actually don't know why, even now. I had a favorite clown plushie named Pixou when I was young, then after years I had it, I began having nightmares, and even though seeing it move when awake but seeing it in the shadows... got rid of it eventually when those nightmares started escalating. I can actually remember them, the clown plushie coming alive and slowly turning friends and family into clown plushies. The worst part of it, it looks like it's moving and it wasn't at the same time.
Me thinks that sounds like a genuine cursed or haunted artifact rather than just pediophobia
Just a theory but maybe phobias can become more and more stronger the longer it takes for you to get over the fear
@@markanthonyquitoriano5912 Yea, true. Though, I personally find enjoyment in fighting my fear (which is why I call it a "minor" phobia), since a young age. The nightmares were more bothersome, and I knew I wasn't scared of clowns, and toys. But this particular one, felt moving until I was thinking to myself to break the flow in my nightmares. These led to me doing things like:
Turning my nightmares into epic battles by being aware that it's my dream, Check; Hight, gone skydiving, twice check; had arachnophobia, yet my hatred over mosquitoes overlap it to the point I actually had a spider in my bedroom that took care of it, check (just have to move the egg sacks out of the house though).
I seen phobias that become more harmful depending on how bad it is.
Makes sense to me honestly, and I'm sorry you had a terrifying experience with a clown plushie you used to love...bet it made you sad a little that you had to get rid of it even though it was causing nightmares and unusual events
@@runamonogatari I honestly don't know how to feel at the time I got rid of said plushie. I wasn't even sad, I did miss the comfort of the fabric it was made of.
Yet, it does go to show that phobia might even come out of nowhere.

I love how creative and creepy this game actually is. This game should have more attention.
I have Pediophobia, which is the fear of dolls or inanimate objects that look real. I also have Automatonophobia, which is a fear of human-like figures, such as mannequins, wax figures, statues, dummies, animatronics, or robots. So I took a risk with watching Fusion playing this game lmao😅😅😂

Finally, no more out of place puzzles, no more incomplete backgrounds with assets here and there, no more eye candy blob monsters, no more cash grabby practices, finally an actual scary mascot horror game.
I feel like the lion shows up a bit too often. Like it’s less scary at this point, it’s annoying. 2 show ups and you’re forced to recharge so instead of doing actual progress you’re just running back and forth like a marathon runner

You had it right fusion, seems like his voice line signals him leaving and the walking sounds are him approaching, just only turn on audio after you saw him and turn it off when he leaves
I think it could bennifit from a bit more camera battery, so you aren't spending the whole game checking one room and going back to the start

i would't call this just a mascot horror game, for it is quite unique in some ways (that are better than some other game i know), and it seems like a different kind of sub category of mascot horror.
I think it's still considered mascot horror cause the monsters look like theyd actually be for kids, like fnaf and technically banban
