      That's good! 👍
The ability to experience "awe" _(as in "Awesome!")_ is a learned skill in my opinion, that is not always able to be _shared with others_ that we happen to have as friends or partners in life. Which is why the Comments Section here in CZcams Land (and other Social Media platforms) are so popular.
However, I also believe that mentally acknowledging such emotions, or recording them in a personal Journal (or sketching some artful record, or perhaps making a Screen Grab/photograph) can heighten such experiences in our consciousness, such that other opportunities for joy and happiness become more frequent as we gravitate towards better use of our limited time on this earth, and avoid toxic experiences such as Doom & Gloom News broadcasts for instance.
Thanks for sharing your observations. 😅

Your channel is my favorite for this kind of content. Your commentary is always fun to read and makes it obvious how hard you work for producing these videos. Thanks for posting! Cheers!

Excellent video. I’m impressed at how much access you are given to film everything. I can’t imagine what it must take to talk them into letting you get in there and get so close to everything so you can capture all of those perfect shots that you always get. The filming and editing are always exceptional. I hope you have a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

I think a lot of this comes back to him being in Korea.
In Germany (I guess in the US as well) the managers would only be thinking about the risk of injury or violating some regulations that they just turn him down to avoid the hassle.

Saw demo of cold-headed bolt forging equipment many years ago (mid 80's) at Rockford Products - the process hasn't changed. Jon, I continue to love watching your work and have watched the steel mill vid's a couple of times. Please keep it up, but don't burn your self out in the process.

I'd like the name of the 'rivnuts' that had the studs installed! Never saw those before and didn't know it was an item made! I use "Rivnuts" often, then must get creative to install a stud for some of my fabrication items. Thanks for posting this video! 이 영상을 올려주셔서 감사합니다! 😍 50년차 아내도 한국 사람이에요!😁

as a furniture maker over the past 5 years I have used thousands of screws , and I very rarely find flawed ones, sometimes the thread is missing, or sometimes it's longer and looks weird, but that is about 1 every 3 boxes, so 1/600

Yep....this content provider deems it unnecessary to offend people's ears with terrible royalty free music that CZcams suggests. That crappy CZcams music should be banned from human existence. I will never unsubscribe to this channel for that reason. The content is worthy of viewership and the filming and associated naturally occuring sounds in the factory are what I want to hear. NOT crappy CZcams royalty free music. Thank you.

6:12 - this is washing/ neutralising step, maybe passivation (zinc coating needs to be passivated in order to achieve corrosion resistance) - the electroplating (in electrolyte bath) was done in the previous step, in those rotary baskets.
7:25 - PLATING can be "silver" or "gold" aka "yellow", although actually it is not "plating" as such but rather passivation layer put ONTO the plating (i.e. thin layer of zinc) - which may be clear or yellowish, but the latter one is not frequently used as it requires use of dichromates (= hexavalent chromium), which is not exactly environmentally friendly. I guess it provides more durable finish, and that's why wood screws are typically "yellow-finished" while "machine" bolts and screws are typically "silver-finished" since they do not face as strong friction as wood screws when screwed in.
And that black COATING is NOT any "plating", it is just a COATING - a hard oxide layer (ferrous oxide, FeO) created during quenching red-hot carbon steel in oil (in the hardening process).
7:58 - well, not exactly THOSE nuts and bolts "are put together".
Blind riveted NUTS have their thread CUT, as we could a see moment earlier, and those NUTS are just left "just as they are" - and they are used AS NUTS, fastened in a blind holes.
Blind riveted BOLTS (screws), on the other hand, are fitted with UNTHREADED sleeves that looks pretty much like those riveted nuts I mentioned just before, and those sleeves are then press-fit/ press-mounted onto them. Fitting those sleeves by pressing them on ensures they won't be prone to "unscrewing" while a regular nut is tightened onto them.
You can see it CLEARLY in 8:15 - the sleeve just slides onto the bolt, without any resistance, and it certainly is not "screwed on" as it would be the case with THREADED sleeves. And about five seconds latter you can see those sleeves being pressed tight onto those bolts.
