True bro, ❤️. In anyone drives a Ford they will findnit difficult to enjoy driving another car. Can you believe, i learnt myself driving buying a Ford Ikon? Such a drivers car, its very sad that Ford moved out of India. 😔. By the way i like the way you present your videos. Gentle, clear and useful explanation. Keep up the good work. 👍

As a proud owner of the Global Fiesta myself which is nearing 1 lakh kms, I completely agree to your well articulated views. One point from my ownership experience is that the spares are very costly hence we need to be super careful while driving and maintaining this car otherwise it's truly a gem of a car and as you mentioned it brings a grin everytime you take it out for a spin 😊. Thank you for choosing this series of videos.
PS: please consider a key cover as any accidental drops during wash/service can be tedious. Also consider changing the gear knob as it wears out around the 90k mark.

This video made me feel nostalgic and took me to the olden days. During 2011, diesel cars sold like hot cakes. I test rode all the cars in the segment Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta, VW Vento, Skoda Rapid, Fiat Linea 1.3 MJD and Nissan Sunny. Each car excelled in it's unique behaviour.
Hyundai Verna - Butter Smooth Performance, Fluidic design language,
Fiesta - Excellent Handling, Unique looks,
    Sunny - Acres of Space,
Linea - Phenomenal Ride and Handling and
VW/Skoda - 1.6 Tdi's explosive performance. We were hunting for a diesel vehicle and finalised Rapid as it suited our needs. My father still uses that Rapid and clocked 1.4 Lakh Kms and it still behaves like a new car as it is maintained well. Coming to the Fiesta, being a driving enthusiast I liked that car in all aspects except for the Space in the rear. For this reason we preferred Rapid over Fiesta for long distance mile munching.

I own a Ford figo 2017 model.... Which is almost similar to this fiesta.... I have never regretted even for a sec.... You can only understand if you would have driven a Ford.... Unmatched till date when it comes to handling and fuel efficiency... I am near Valparai so I drive hills atleast once a month .... It has more than 30 hairpin bends .... Usually drivers won't feel comfortable around hairpin bends but I love those bends because of my car's handling... I highways it is an ease to gape and change lanes within a fraction of seconds because of its agility...i have got a mileage close to 25-26 while cruising at 80-100 in highway and recently I got 23kmpl while driving to munnar which is a hill station... I bet no other car would return that much efficiency with 4 people on borad and with full luggage... I will never sell this car until diesel cars are banned that's how much I love my car.... Happy and proud owner of ford figo ❤️

@@motowagon Certain things can't be expressed in words... One such is my love towards ford.... Not only figo the discontinuation of Punto and polo is also a big loss for indian market... Such a driver's car they were.... I don't find such a strong competitor for those 3 cars from any of the other manufacturers till date and it's a big gape that one of the existing brands in India should fill... Lets wait and see which car brand is really gonna value the real car enthusiasts of Indian market..!!! I humbly request a vlog on Fiat Punto please.... Thanks for acknowledging my comment... Best wishes for your future vlogs 😊

Initially ford didn't sell any spareparts directly to customers. Later on they changed their mind and started open counters for selling spares. Actually this created a dent in customers for Ford as our people look into that matter seriously. When they realized this after some 15 years it was too late.

Awesome story. when I worked with Ford Motor Company and discussed my colleagues who changed the company lease cars from Global Fiesta to EcoSport, they gave feedback that Ecosport doesn't have the driving dynamics as Global Fiesta and it is always Fun to Drive Global Fiesta. Worth review even though it is not on Roads now. One drawback untold in this video is the spares unavailability and cost.

I own a 1st Gen Ford Fiesta TDCI 1.4 SXI (2008 Model) , still driving it with a 175000 KMS ODO. One of the best n heartiest machine 🥰. Either on B2B traffic or on express highways one word, it is the driver's car. Look wise it is Cute and even after a decade of design it does not look old.Performance part it is unbeatable with 1596 CC engine and 101BHP, Ford had a good after sale servicing center. There is a mis-perception that it is costly to maintain. Not at all. Pros: Look, Power, Built, space, Highway FE, Hydraulic Power steering, dual Airbags and ABS Cons: Wheel size should have been 15''. City FE I am enjoying this power house in every drive. Sails in the ghat section like cheetah and on the highway it is unbeatable. With a lighter foot and minimum Ac usage on the highways I got an excellent FE of 22 kmpl. Even after 1.75 lakh kms odo never touched an engine for repair. That's the beauty of TDCI n fiesta 💚💚

After Safari, I dreamt of owning a Fiesta classic - a perfect sedan with top-notch comfort. as you mentioned I was not impressed with this facelift's design plus had a bad experience with Ford sales team. After test driving many from Swift to Polo, I ended up in buying a Punto in 2017! Just for the handling response I have got it from the HPS - it just put a smile on my face and I felt this is my car! though it terribly lags all other depts like advanced features, low knee and head rest, etc. but its all about the connect btw ur heart and the car.
As of now no regrets enjoying every bit of my drive! changed clutch system @83k kms rest all good. my car mechanic said I can do timing chain at 1L as there are no signs of noise. We had failed to recognize and celebrate good cars on right time - Hope Fiat and Ford will come back stronger! but we can't expect those cult diesel engines which they are known for..
Thanks for sharing your insights on "Driver's cars" only few can relate it.

My 2nd generation swift 2014 is a fine example like yours too. I took my swift to Munnar within two years of learning driving. People said it is the toughest road to drive in the south of India. Sir because of your confidence level on ford aspire test drive, i bought on 2020 but i never regret for it . and it's very sentimental to me as its my first car and i love to drive on ford cars. only ford owners knows the feel on stability of ford cars. and it gives more confident level of driving with proper steering mechanism. i Love FORD 💙❤️

I’m a very big ford fan,. We had ikon 1.6 nxt, 1.3 flair and now figo aspire diesel. Also I bought aspire in 2016 same as yours. This is gem of Diesel engine. A good marketing should have easily got the number for ford. It’s shame they left India even though they had all tools in hand. I would like to meet you some day bro. #josh machine

Wow😍 my fav car..i had 2011 model. Negatives you told are absolutely true but once you take the car out you will forget everything..fantastic drivers car. One more negative spares are costly and need to wait for some time compare to previous gen fiesta..

Well-done Bro Asir. Now you have proved that you are grateful to your car, which carries you wherever you go. The car seems to be a lucky one since it waited for eight months for you to come and buy and joined you serve you and being cared by you. You have sold your old fiesta to a deserving buyer. Is there any chance of featuring that car in the new series? Kindly make it happen and I am sure it will be a welcome thing.

Super heart touching your car story , it define connect between human and car, Also one doubt Anna how much compensation you got from original price on buying this freestyle holddown car in showroom and when you start this secondhand car sale.

My long time dream of owning a car finally came true this year. Finally, bought a Nissan Magnite and got it delivered a month ago. Been enjoying the learning process of how to drive a car (since this is my first car).

Every car enthusiast could relate to what asir Anna told. Everybody would love to talk about their car just like the way he did. Just like the fiesta classic for asir Anna, there will be a car for every single car enthusiast that changed their attitude and perspective towards driving by setting new benchmarks in terms of driving pleasure and fun. For me it was the VW Polo TDI🥰

    Hi MW Team,
    Vanakkam.🙏
My dream car was Ford Fiesta Classic when I was working in Ford-Visteon Chennai. Then once they stopped it.
The dream shifted to Global Fiesta ( I really love all factors in that car).
I could see day in day out when I enter to my Visteon plant..
Due to Budget and other factors, my first car was turned out to be TATA Indica , driven for 1.5Lakhs Kms with superb condition was giving 18Kmpl mileage and sold out with heart feeling...
Then, I Purchased Ford Ecosport in 2019 and I feel all the comments you are giving for Global Fiesta is matching for my ecosport. (Vennilla ;-))
    60k + kms so far...
    Reasonable maintanence cost till date;
    Great mileage :
18kmpl in bumper to bumper trafficr in Bangalore.
21 to 23 in Highways from Hosur to Dindigul/coimbatore/Chennai/Pondy/kannur/Mysore/Pune and almost all over south states that I driven..
Enjoyed and really can feel your connect with Global Fiesta ❤️
    Hats-off for all your videos..👍
    Keep going Team - MW.✌️
    Nandri .🙏
