Thank u for the video. I cn really see the cycling route in this video. I jus started cycling last week. My turning is not gd. Planning to practise more. Do u think i shld sign up for March Duathlon or next year's?
U dont have to do the full distance. U can sign up for the discovery distance to try it out this year!
GOODJOB!!!!! 😁
Nice video as always, I just want to ask whether you're required to wear the race tag for the bike leg of the metasprint triathlon? This will be my first triathlon so I'm not too sure about the rules.
yup you need to! only dont need for swim!
Cool! let me know how it goes!!!
@@aaroiseverything Oh ok thank you!

@@yijuntey waa thats rly dam fast!!! congrats!!
Hello bro. May I know if MTBs are allowed in Duathlons? Planning to join my 1st Duathlon in August but I'm not sure if MTBs are allowed.
yup they are! you can check their FAQ if youre unsure
@@aaroiseverything I checked from their website and it mentioned that only ebikes are not allowed.
Isn't it akward to ride an MTB during triathlon/duathlon? Were there people riding MTBs in last year's Metasprint Duathlon here in SG? I didn't see any MTBs in your video so I am wondering if it's a normal thing or not.
@@abubakaribrahim6625 yeah not often but there are!
Hey there Ibrahim and Aaron. Runner here, started cycling 5 months ago and currently racking up even more of the aerobic base via cycling, so much so that im cycling more than im running. I feel that is good at least for me, feel not so siong for the joints, when i was running i developed niggles and in the end ITBS for AHM 2023. Im aiming for next year metasprint or something (maybe even PTO's T100 events lol), see how. Currently training on a cheap $200 chinese foldie on PCNs, more than sufficient to build that humongous base. Specific training can start later.
With that said, im still deciding whether or not i wanna go down the foldie route again (but higher specs) or go road bike. RB i feel would be very specific for racing, i enjoy the versatility of foldies more esp since i do quite a lot of errands in it plus i rarely ride on the roads (i only do it while travelling and returning from MBS and Sentosa areas for training and only at the wee hours and after 2200h, i live in the city area), it'd be fun to pit yourself against RBs also. I mean, in other countries, some processional athletes racewalk in marathons, which is an even bigger challenge than running a marathon.
