- The Mad Mike Mazda 3 is a 4-rotor, twin-turbo monster, with over 1400HP, built to run Pikes Peak this year (2023), but without any sacrifice to drivability in potential future events! In this episode I met with Kawato-san and checked out his shop just south of Osaka, TCP Magic, where they have been building and developing the car, alongside some of Mike's other insane rotary builds.

I love Japanese tuning shops. That place isn't much bigger, or seemingly better equipped than my old shop. Yet I'm a loser and went out of business and they're over there making my dream cars. Love it.

I can't get over how stunning and unmistakable Mazda 3 is, even in its stock form. And as a bonus, it was designed by a Japanese designer too. His name is Yasutake Tsuchida. His master-piece IMO is the Furai concept.
Furai, what a car, gone too soon. I really like the current Mazda design language, the 3 and 6 look so good, ngl even their suv look decent

To think that this awesome machine was built in such a small garage is simply amazing.
The work benches are my favorite part too. Seeing the car in progress is so cool. I like when you show us what you like. Also the asmr aspects are wonderful, and your camera picks up crazy nice color

Hi Dino you look good, we've met in Indonesia during FD 2012 & D1 Japan Ebisu 2014.
This video reminds me of when I said that I really wanted to live in Japan to learn more about automotive culture.
But that was a conversation when I was single, now having a wife and two children is getting harder to make that dreams come true.
TCP Magic Worksop is very cool and I see a lot of space & imagine my self that might be possible for me to live there even though it's only 2x2 meters hahaa.. thanks for the content I really enjoyed.

Almost mistook TCP Magic with Pro Staff R Magic, that said the Mazda 3 build is insane! Just curious which Southeast Asian country does that customer hail from, for that blue unlimited budget FD3S build.

Curious about the transmission tunel, it doesn't look heavily modified to fit the driveshaft. Does this model have an AWD version in stock form?
Also, the rear end gives away that this car may go drifting in the future.
Maybe some Mazda guys can answer that …
Yes there is an AWD version of the 4th gen 3. Its automatic only though from the factory.
