Coal was not white like the other lambs, but his colour was black. So the other lambs ostracised Coal and made fun of him.
One day in the forest, an unfortunate incident happened to Coal. One misty night, as lightning flashed, Coal approached the edge of a cliff. Suddenly, he slipped and fell into a deep abyss. He was helplessly injured in the darkness and could not call anyone for help.
