Now that I think about it, I'm more of a Lava shipper than a Kailor shipper. Because Kai and Cole have more moments and chemistry together than Kai and Skylor. I love the idea where you grow up together in the same home or neighborhood and at first, you started out as best friends, then coming to love them as sibling figures until you realize deep down, you have feelings for that friend you always cherish your whole life. That what Lava feels for me. I'm a sucker for best friends to bromance to lovers trope.
I really don't mind if they make Lava canon! I'd be happy either way if Kai ended up with Cole or Skylor. Kai always give me a bisexual vibe, who just happens to have preference for Skylor and Cole always felt like a comphet gay to (or a comphet achillean, if you guys still headcanon him as bisexual or pansexual).
what does comphet mean?

It's also when a lesbian had dated men in the past before realizing they're truly lesbians (and the same goes for gay men who dated women in the past before realizing they're gay) - all in all, they never feel any romantic and sexual attractions for the opposite-sex/genders like they thought they do but it's actually a forced attraction or they confused their platonic attraction for the opposite-sex friends for something romantic. It's ALSO when people used to identify as cisgender but can never come out as trans due to their homophobic parents that raised them in a patriarchy, traditionalist, transphobic, and misogyny environment - many transwomen were pressured to go into a male dominated roles like the military back when they are cismen and many trans men were pressured into becoming mothers and having children- a role they don't even WANT back when they are ciswomen.

Some people might not agree with this comment that I'm about to type but why do I have a feeling that Lava will be a thing one day in the series. I know they're brothers but like they're always together near each other close and in one episode when cole didn't have a vehicle to drive he picked Kai's while he could have picked the other ninja. season 12 they both turned into cubes together while protecting the others. also in season 12, Kai saved Cole as he was trying not ro be shoted by the drones thingy by unagami so Kai jumped of the roped and saved him as he didn't want the same thing to happened in season 8 or 9
And both of them were the only ones with 1 life at the season where they followed Richie into a glitch

Fun fact: Lava is what introduced me to Ninjago. I once got it on my CZcams recommended page and I was like, wow, these people are goofy I wanna watch Ninjago. I found out it was on Netflix after a while of only watching clips not knowing the context. And..now I'm obsessed..😂❤

I think I just figured out why Cole didn’t have a reflection. Not being able to see himself just meant he was never going to stay in that form as a ghost since between Skybound, and the hands of time, cole transitioned from a ghost into a normal person again.

May I ask where the last bunch of clips come from? I don't remember ever seeing them in the main show. Anyways, on to lava! The 2 are so cute together, they definitely strike a good balance between having banter and having wholesome and cool moments.
