Yes but just for regular season plays, very little defense or resistance put up by teams/players. Come playoff season, those kinds of plays will be scouted, prepared for with sticky defense tactics.

Then you got GG Jackson and Williams jr. who are young guys with a lot of potential, and they have good role players in kennard and konchar and a good bench with Zaire Williams and Aldama, Brandon Clark, Marcus smart, Derrick rose, Scottie pippen jr. if they can stay healthy with the mixture of young talent and veterans they can win. They were the best in the west for back to back years and everyone on the team except one or two guys were under 24yo. They can win

the more i think about it, his second suspension was ridiculous. HE had a gun at HIS house - which is legal activity. That suspension is almost definitely the reason he got injured on his return.

It’s not. You represent the league as a player and you are part of the brand. It’s like if you wore hooping shorts and a t-shirt to a job that requires a suit and tie. They’re gonna fire you or suspend you. Are you allowed to normally wear those clothes? Yeah. But that’s not the work dress code. Guns are a bad look for the league. Kids look up to Ja. They can’t have him promoting something contrary to league values
@@James9533 I understand this viewpoint. And if he was on any NBA property it would be different (You dont bring guns to work). But we are talking at his house, in the off season. The idea that constitution activity like that isn't the leagues values doesn't really cut it for me. I think it was the league trying to control and manipulate Ja's behaviour. Its just a theory, but i dont think it was in the NBA's plans for him to become a superstar (just look at how he was coverered in his first season vs Zion - although they did reqard him rookie of the year as he deserved). I think they will only let people be superstars in a way where they control them/ the narrative . Ja was getting too big too quick, so they needed to remind him how things really work. But yeah probably a bit of truth and overthinking in this theory.
